It's looking like that might be what happens, almost half time and both teams look like they've agreed on getting a point each. This is one of the drawbacks of having the possibility of 3 teams going through in the same group.

Yet albeit unlikely but there could be an scenario where all four teams finish with 4 points.

That happened in the 1994 World Cup in a group that coincidently involved Mexico. The only time in World Cup history where all teams in a group finished with the same amount of points.

Six minutes of added time to endure and for Mexico to be the first country into the last 32 unless South Korea can get an equaliser.

Really disappointingly low-quality game settled by a goalkeeping mistake.

But it does mean that Mexico have won Group A and made the glamour tie against England at the Azteca in the last 16 looks likely.

Ireland were in that group too and should have been in this group. How on Earth did we end up getting beat by that Czechia side??
