My sister and I got into a discussion a few weeks back about songs where the artist's name is mentioned and it became a surprisingly fun game trying to think of some, so I thought I'd open it up here x

Trying to think less of "Jason Derulo" at the start of every track or anything along those lines, and more of the artist's name actually being in the lyrics of a verse or chorus, or even the title. They don't have to mention it themselves (could be a featured artist who mentions their name, for example).

(began from a discussion about group songs where the band member names are mentioned, feel free to throw some of those out too x)

Some that come to my mind right now:

S Club - S Club Party (both the group name and each member's name, and a few other songs mention the band name, e.g. Don't Stop Movin')

Big Brovaz - Nu Flow (as above, group name and member names)

Keri Hilson - Pretty Girl Rock ("my name is Keri, I'm so very fly oh my it's a lil bit scary")

Shakira feat. Wyclef Jean - Hips Don't Lie (obviously x)

Justin Bieber feat. Jaden Smith - Never Say Never ("he ain't on a JB song with me")

Kelly Rowland feat. Eve - Like This ("Kelly, E-V-E we comin' through and got 'em bowin' down")

Harry Styles - As It Was ("Harry you're no good alone")

Sugababes - Sugababes on the Run (and the 2.0 member names are mentioned in Angels With Dirty Faces)

Billie Piper - The Tide Is High (the guest rapper: "bumped into this girl and her name was Billie P")
