It would be an interesting comparison to see the uproar of Lush Life were no1 for ages. Not that the no1 position matters as it’s been top 10 a similar amount of time and all this year so far. It’s really to do with the song.

The #1 position is the most prominent position by far so yes I'd say it is an important distinction...!

Either way, so what if Lush Life wouldn't get the same response? I don't really get the point being made other than "Buzzjack likes female singers"

'Rein Me In' up by 2.3k on last Friday (just saying)

I don't think multiple songs hanging around the top ten for 6 months is a good thing regardless of whether it's Lush Life or whether it's Rein Me In, it's a sad state of affairs either way.

5.53% increase for RMI - 2nd day of increase

Of course it’s the most prominent but that’s not why RMI gets complaints. So what if LL doesn’t get the same response? Well that’s my point exactly the different reactions to the successes of different songs and the constant posts from the same people about whether they will fall away (which they will inevitably Will eventually).

Because of the style of song it is.

The travelling England fans will make the US fall for Rein Me In. Time to get Billboard #1

The charts a mess regardless of position - we’ve got songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s etc being reset and clogging up the charts.

Acts like FLO, Bebe etc have missed out on a Top 40, Ella a Top 10 and many more examples - which would have been beneficial to those artists who are building careers.

would love to see self aware climb a bit as it gets better everytime I haer it

Stupid song for number 1 this week, The cure for next week ❤️

If Stupid Song does go number 1 on Friday and The Cure next week, then Olivia’s current single will be getting knocked off the top by her previous single

Streams for RMI by this time last Tuesday: 1,895,664

And this Tuesday: 1,881,824

It might actually go to ACR next week

Midnight sun down 13.6k on last week fingers 🤞 that buggers of to ACR

Along with everything else on DCL-2.

Shame 'maggots for brains' seems to be falling relatively among her album tracks, I think that's probably my 2nd favourite song on the album after 'the cure'. 'stupid song' is great as well though (possibly my 3rd favourite) so more than happy for that to get the #1 instead although in a perfect world that and 'the cure' can both be #1s please x

I know it's early in the tracklist but surprised 'honeybee' is holding up so well as I don't think it sounds much like a hit!
