An monumental effort from Cape Verde, taken both of the favourites for the World Cup and pushed them all the way. One of the great underdog stories of the World Cup.

But Argentina will have to play better if they want to win this.

Gutted for Cape Verde but they have done themselves proud and played with courage against Argentina and throughout the tournament. They scored probably the goal of the tournament with the 2-2 equaliser. They'll be missed for sure and so will their fans who are by far the most easy on the eye.

Yeah it feels like it was right to expand the tournament. It's just the method of trimming the teams down to 32 for the knockout stage that has it's flaws as we've seen with how some teams approached their group matches.

we would definitely be supporting the expansion here. Though my biggest concern is the increase of Israel's chance to qualify.
