Yesterday at 00:331 day If Argentina are going to win this can Messi not score a screamer instead of these guys?
Yesterday at 00:331 day Author Romero has probably broken the hearts of the population of Cape Verde just then.
Yesterday at 00:361 day I’d say a lot of neutrals started off supporting Argentina because of Messi tonight and are now gutted Cape Verde are behind again
Yesterday at 00:451 day Agh and they had some big chances there too. What an effort though and an actually amazing period of Extra Time!
Yesterday at 00:481 day I think they’ll ultimately be remembered for Vozinha and their defensive effort but Cape Verde played some brilliant football during this tournament and played it far from safe.
Yesterday at 00:481 day PETITION TO QUALIFY CAPE VERDE FOR THE ROUND OF 16We, the undersigned, refuse to accept a World Cup Round of 16 without Cape Verde. No offense to Canada or the USA, but football needs chaos surprising and underdogs, and Cape Verde gave us all of that. Therefore, we demand:Immediate promotion of Cape Verde to the Round of 16.An extra knockout spot if necessary.A public apology to everyone who got emotionally attached after one match. Yesterday at 00:481 day Author An monumental effort from Cape Verde, taken both of the favourites for the World Cup and pushed them all the way. One of the great underdog stories of the World Cup.But Argentina will have to play better if they want to win this.Great to see Lisandro Martinez congratulate all of the Cape Verde players.
Yesterday at 00:491 day Damn the GOAT makes it through. Doubt Vozinha will beat Emiliano for the Best XI now...
Yesterday at 01:011 day Gutted for Cape Verde but they have done themselves proud and played with courage against Argentina and throughout the tournament. They scored probably the goal of the tournament with the 2-2 equaliser. They'll be missed for sure and so will their fans who are by far the most easy on the eye.
Yesterday at 01:201 day Yeah it feels like it was right to expand the tournament. It's just the method of trimming the teams down to 32 for the knockout stage that has it's flaws as we've seen with how some teams approached their group matches.
Yesterday at 01:231 day we would definitely be supporting the expansion here. Though my biggest concern is the increase of Israel's chance to qualify. Edited yesterday at 01:251 day by CowTzy was here
