July 19Jul 19 Spain dominated the whole competition, by winning all 3 group games and sail through quite easily, playing France was the biggest test, but in the end, France lost their way when they played Spain. In the end Spain were consistent throughout and I knew they were the country to beat. Unlikely for England they could have been in the final with Spain. At least England beat France 6-4 that was the icing on the cake, and that score was the most goals scored for a World Cup game.
