I Wanna Have Your Babies just killed the whole campaign from the off, one of those all-time terrible lead single choices. Soulmate almost pulled it back but didn't shift the album despite doing well itself. A bit of a damage control single in that it could have done better if it wasn't following that song but a lot of momentum was lost.

I really liked that album, not as much as the debut but there was a good song called (No More) What If's which had a version with Eve and a version without iirc. Say It Again, co-written by Adam Levine, also had some hit potential and was catchy. And then the US album obviously had the brilliant Pocketful Of Sunshine (which is long overdue a moment here, I've been waiting for so long for it to get that) and some other good new songs. It all could have been so different.

RMI +20k, seems to be having a viral moment after it was posted as someone’s wedding song which I’m sure is helping.

Adding myself to this discussion. It really would be justice if ‘Pocketful of Sunshine’ could finally become a hit.

I don’t think it has been mentioned yet, but why has it suddenly/finally charted on Spotify?

I wanna have your babies was a low key bop though ,it deserved more than it got 😮

It was and I don't care what anyone says!

No sign of Madonna X Kylie?

With zero playlist support it’s not going to do well on streaming.

I completely agree. That song was a ‘WTF’ moment - trying to replicate the success of ‘These Words’ but failing dismally. Following up one of the best debut albums of its time with that career killing song 🤦🏼‍♂️.

I loved ‘Soulmate’ but the damage was done as people had switched off already.

Still think her best song is ‘Wild Horses’.

Well this just demonstrates the Spotify-Apple divide. This did 33K first day on Spotify counter

The debut is honestly in my top 40 of all-time. The singles, Wild Horses, Silent Movie, If You're Gonna, the hidden track Sojourn, Stumble from the US re-release. I really loved it all.

There was a definite strong album in N.B./Pocketful Of Sunshine too but the rollout and strategy was confused to say the least.

It’s been added quite high to Apple’s Today’s Hits playlist, which always has a decent impact on there.

I saw Natty Bedz at a festival a month ago(ish) and we met up with some friend's that were there after.

One of them said "she didn't even play most of her hits... Where was 'I Wanna Have Your Babies' and 'I Bruise Easily'?!?!", and in all honesty I've always loved 'I Wanna Have Your Babies' too!

(She also performed a new song, which I just found out like a day ago is being released on the 14th called 'Dot Dot Dot'... It was fun, but it won't do anything haha!)

That makes sense, it’s surged on the most recent update

Big climbs for So Easy and Beauty And A Beat on Spotify, anyone know why?

I bruise is another one that should of done better its 12 peak is criminally low

I know this has probably been answered before but could anyone tell me:

  1. Does Spotify still count streams if you listen outside of your home country?

  2. Does Spotify still count streams if you download and listen offline?

Thanks!

My whole On the Go playlist on Apple is basically songs I download and listen offline and I assumed they were counted as the data would easily be counted from your phone.

  1. Yes they do not sure if its 2 weeks or 28 days before they count to the new country

  2. They count but I think they count the data to the day you switch back to online
