If it is streaming on Discord, you just have to be in a voice channel (it would be expected everyone in there is muted), and then while in it there is an option for anyone to share your screen, so I think what's been done before is sharing someone's screen playing the Youtube playlist.

(there is an integration with Spotify that works slightly differently but I think everyone using it needs Premium so boo monopoly)
