Considering Zara almost went out in round 1 with the absolute monstrosity that was sent, she had a good run but the other 5 are probably the correct final 5 (I am still bitter about Agnes, but we move on).

The females group is incredibly solid, the next elimination could be a shocker (if I just saw correct that someone can send Cold Shoulder than wow Adele will be hard to beat for sure)!

Sad for Sade and Gary was gonna struggling keeping up with the younger talent so that’s probably the right decision.

The old man had a song called 'Intruder' a few years ago which was pretty decent so it's a shame that didn't get a chance to be sent.

Perhaps this is the best round to use this theme.

If it's as people suspect and it's filled with songs that are (let's say) not so great then it's only 15 songs songs, 5 from each category. It's the lowest number of songs submitted we'll have until the Live Shows start. So it makes sense to me.

Are we thinking it's a double elimination this round? So 9 acts + however many Gamu acts go through to lives?

Can confirm it is not a double elimination, to put everyone's mind at ease my comment earlier was about what may or may not end up being submitted x

I'm expecting one act eliminated each, leaving a top 4. That'd make 12 plus 3 Gamu is 15.

If I was still in, then I would've whittled my choices down to 4 potential songs. But I think whatever I send would probably be iffy.

1 fun choice, 2 songs which I like but are nothing spectacular (passible considering what was on offer) and 1 song which is decent (to me) but could be marmite.

Probably gonna sleep on it and make my decision in the morning 🤣

I think its only going to be 1 going through via Gamu - mainly based on the number of rounds there is + The category stages having an extra round this year with the 6CC.

Some of the Kworb listings don't seem accurate and are missing loads of songs for me.

For example only 73 Bananarama songs show up but they have far more than that on Spotify, e.g. the single mix of Nathan Jones has 1.4m streams but doesn't appear at all in their Kworb list, so it makes me wonder what else is missing and if that bottom ten is a true reflection:

Hopefully someone can chip in with an understanding of what actually displays on it, because I did wonder if certain things were excluded for a reason when I was researching what HRVY's mentor could potentially send to these two rounds as his song Runaway With It (a sample) doesn't appear on the list although it would be in the middle of it somewhere.

Yeah when I was doing some banana research I saw that eternal bop Love Comes had approx 106k streams, so should easily have appeared in the bottom 10 on Kworbs list, but alas it did not!
