Glad this has made the top 10 quite quickly, wonder if it's a future #1 contender? Nice seeing some new hits rising fast between this, Nicole Kidman and Babydoll.

Biography

Why do Olivia Dean songs strike such a chord? Because they come directly from personal experience. “I would never, ever write something that wasn’t true or didn’t happen to me,” she told Apple Music’s Rebecca Judd in 2025. “It’s not interesting to me. It doesn’t do anything for me to make it up, because I’ve got to go out and sing it for maybe the rest of my life.” Born in 1999 in the London Borough of Haringey and raised in Highams Park, Dean dabbled in gospel choir and busking before studying music theatre and songwriting at the prestigious BRIT School. Spanning a series of EPs beginning in 2019, early tracks like “Ok Love You Bye” revealed her evergreen soul and jazz influences while proving just how nimble yet emotional she could be as a singer and songwriter alike. Dean dug deeper into smouldering neo-soul with “Dive”, from her 2023 debut album Messy, but 2025 is when everything really happened for her. That year alone, she duetted with Sam Fender on “Rein Me In” before scoring her biggest global hits to date with the Fleetwood Mac-esque “Nice to Each Other” and the wonderfully retro “Man I Need”, the latter gilded with breezy funk and gospel flourishes. Both tracks appeared on her second album, The Art of Loving, and suddenly, she was selling out consecutive nights at London’s O2 Arena. At this rate, Dean will indeed be singing these songs—and many more to come—for the rest of her life. - Apple Music

Babydoll is not my thing, but I'm loving the latest fresh tracks.

this will be the 52nd week that Man I Need'll have spent in the top five on Audio Streaming! cheeseblock

49 of those weeks will have been in the top three with 41 of those in the top two!

Can’t believe just how big of a hit this has been, it’s one singular week at no1 doesn’t feel right for how big it’s been! Crazy how this time last year it was up here with the likes of golden and the fate of Ophelia and here it still is and those massive hits have been an gone while this remains so high!

Good to see “Stop The Wedding” top 10. Also the Adela and Nicole Kidman track sounded much better than expected!

Biography

Sam Fender crafts the kind of tenacious anthemic rock that punches straight at the gut. Born and raised in 1994 in the northeastern English town of North Shields, the singer/songwriter first picked up a guitar at age 10 and began playing gigs locally as a teen to help support him and his mother. But it wasn’t until he started writing music for himself—rather than what he thought others wanted to hear—that everything started to click. That’s when he wrote his 2017 debut single, “Play God”, a propulsive, politically charged slice of indie rock. It came from a place of deep desperation, “a time where I was like, ‘I need to prove myself. I need to do something that cuts through,’” he told Apple Music. The track earned him a slot on BBC’s Sound of 2018 shortlist, which led to a deal with Polydor Records and the release of his acclaimed 2019 debut, Hypersonic Missiles, an album that channels modern-day anxiety through heartfelt heartland rock. His 2021 follow-up, Seventeen Going Under, hit even harder, pumped full of soaring arrangements and bold statements that continue to prove Fender’s power as a mighty millennial voice for the working class. - Apple Music
