Before we begin, a word from the director:

What we see tonight is a culmination of some of your best efforts at entertaining us all, as you do month after month. For that I must say thank you to every one of you who entered tonight.

From the mods who keep the contest running, to those who keep the odds threads lively, it’s an awesome way to keep me finding and loving new music and you all do a great part in keeping me in this madhouse each month as I continue to look for new interesting entries to send into the grinder. Thank you all.

Huge thanks in particular go to Neliönoir/blacksquare for their wonderful graphics that helped bring my contest to life.

I was thinking black and white for this theme to get away from anime to go with all the old movies I have been watching recently and in particular Hitchcock and his tension mastery that I’ve tried to emulate in presenting, or Kurosawa and his dramatics, one perhaps a bit more black and white than the other.

Plus a little bit of treating my country Séyetana as an object of vaguely defined horror and terror, which may or may not be what half of you think every other month when I’ve sent noise rock again.

I am so pleased to have gotten the chance to host this great contest again, this time following a victory. Who knows what the future will hold, but I know I never thought I’d be hosting again after my first hosting 5 years ago, so we shall see.

Tonight, one of you will get that feeling of victory. Or I win the double.
