Hi all,

Unfortunately the P!nk forum will be closing this weekend. I've already spoken with the fantastic Laura (troublepink), who's been at the helm of this section for 20 years (!) and has made it one of the most inviting, warmest places on the forum. Unfortunately, post levels have been low for a while so it's time for P!nk to be moved into Pop.

All threads will be moved to Pop this weekend, other than the general discussion thread which will find a new home in the Music Lounge.

In the meantime, thanks so much Laura for all of your incredible work to keep this place going for so long!

It’s quite fitting with the low post numbers and the controversy around her at the moment.

Personally the lack of responses in the past to anything I tried to do when I was mod) or anything Laura tried to do) left me not really posting here myself outside of an album release.

Big thanks to Laura. Such an amazing mod!

Agree that both T Boy and Laura have done their best with it over the years - so thank you both for your efforts

Can't say I'm surprised really, it used to be an area I frequented a lot (I even moderated at one point 😂) but even then it was always on the quieter side. Laura has been brilliant though and I hope she still sticks around 🩷

I’ve posted on the forum for a while now and this was amongst the first artist forums I posted in regularly and always felt very welcome here so thanks to all involved in moderating ❣️.

Big thanks to Laura and Toby for all you’ve done for the forum, I think your efforts are why the forum has lasted for so long and I totally appreciate the frustration of putting effort in and it feeling like not always being reciprocated. I think discussion around Pink will benefit from being in the Pop forum and hope to see you both continuing to share you passion for Pink there.

That’s sad news, but it does feel like the right time. P!nk hasn’t much of late and it’s been relatively quiet here.

Thanks to Laura and T Boy for all your work here. It has been a great place to frequent over the years.

The end of an era!

I guess this was inevitable because of the recent circumstances, but this doesn't exempt the hard work Toby and, especially, Laura have done over the years with the forum.

I've been trying to think of what to post in this thread for most of the day ❤️

I guess I just want to say thank you for letting me run this forum for 20 years.

All the support, posts, discussion, it's been so much fun.

And a big shout out to the mods which have helped me over the years, especially Toby.

I used to be able to put so much time into this place, with games, rates, news updates etc and I absolutely loved doing all that.

But nowadays, the rates/games haven't had much success and there is little interest in any news updates, so I kinda knew this was coming sooner rather than later.

And life is so up and down at the moment that honestly sometimes forums have been the last thing on my mind (sorry!)

I'll still stick around, and if there is ever a chance the Pink forum may return you all know I'd be here in a heartbeat to mod it again.

I’ll always love to discuss P!nk music with you when new music comes around and the next time She announces shows / a tour etc! And if you ever do anything related to her on the pop forum I’d discuss / join!

She is one of my favourites and this forum was one of the first forums I joined. I joined the forum pretty near when Beautiful Trauma dropped!
