September 27Sep 27 David Guetta must be up there too in terms of acts that have never had big gaps in being playlisted. But of course he'll be a few years behind Coldplay, and it's less impressive for DJs who typically work with younger acts. I can see Calvin Harris still being playlisted in 20 years if he's still releasing bangers!

Some of the content like the chart show will survive on BBC Sounds of course like the chart show but the actual concept of radio will be dead outside of hobbyists in 20 years time.

The days of Calvin going top 10 with everything he does may be over but even the ones that get to #35 hang around the Top 100 for ages playing the long game! 12 minutes ago, Jay79x said:babes it's like on the cusp of turning 100 and has been through worse Well, 60 but close enough. Then again, I might not exist in 20 years either.

Can't cost much to run either, isn't it mainly repeats from the main station's overnight output?Definitely think they'll be gunning for telly first, BBC Three comeback has just turned out to be a load of Top Gear repeats etc by all accounts. Good to see them getting some daytime support; if I recall correctly it's a set 'one play per day' except for today as Jess will play it tonight alongside Vicky and Charley's earlier spin.

September 30Sep 30 That Sexy Magic song is an absolute banger. Would’ve been perfect Radio 1 summer song.
