  • I actually think MCR might be challenging for number one album - loads of hype for the Black Parade reissue and based on the performance of the Danger Days reissue it has a big chance!

Yes, the Jamie versions are combined on Spotify, you can tell by the fact they display the same total stream count.

Jamie's sales lead helping him out at this stage it seems, possibly Amazon favouring him too (the chart isn't loading for me to check annoyingly). Would expect Tate to overtake going by her Spotify lead (and how close she ran Jamie last week with less of a head start)

"Angel Of My Dreams" at #35? Thought it'd be higher than that.

It’s not been reset so effectively it’s streams are half (It’ll climb Friday when it gets reset)

Official Charts Report

Jamie Miller's Babydoll eyes a second week in a row at Number 1.

After the track's incredible rise culminated in a standout chart-topping moment on Friday – resulting in Jamie becoming the first Welsh artist to clinch the top spot since 2011 – Babydoll shows no signs of slowing down, as it looks to dominate the Singles Chart once again.

Elsewhere, P!nk and Nate Ruess' 2013 hit Just Give Me a Reason aims to climb even further, currently tracking to rise three places (16).

Halloween is almost here and Michael Jackson is bringing the vibes with the hair-raising Thriller (19), while Cloonee, Prospa and Tristan Henry's Good Girl may break the Top 20 for the very first time (20).

Moreover, Kolter's Hey Everybody (Back In The Dance) is forecast to storm up the standings (26).

Following her stunning Mercury Prize 2026 win for her Number 1 album THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE., RAYE may find WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! elevating 20 spots (31).

Similarly, JADE's Angel Of My Dreams may re-enter the Top 40 after her incredible rendition of the track as part of this year's Mercury Awards (35).

There could be a new entry for Fontaines D.C.'s Mimesis (33), as Season 25 and Shotta's. sets its sights on a new peak (34).

One thing I’ve not seen discussed recently is whether the figure for Jamie on Spotify contains all versions of the track, or just the main one.

I think I saw somewhere that they had been combined – does anyone know whether this is correct?

If not - then combined streams could be closer to or more than Tate’s.

his uncombined original-version streams are enough on Apple for #1 with the duet seperately charting just outside the top 40 so I think he's stronger on other platforms and that'll have made a difference on the mids

Jamie’s at #1 on Apple and Amazon, #1 and #3 on iTunes - so it’s ‘only’ Spotify where Tate has the lead (and not as big as it looks due to both of Jamie’s versions).

Will be another close battle this week.

I have a feeling that both versions are already combined on Spotify. If you go to Kworb only one version is listed amongst Jamie’s 43 tracks (others have multiple versions) - and likewise, if you go to Jamie’s top 10 most streamed tracks on Spotify.

Often, if different versions have the same backing track but with different vocals, they will be combined. I remember this happened to Mae Muller ‘I Wrote A Song’ when she recorded a French duet version.

So I’m convinced that at least on Spotify, Tate’s lead IS as big as it seems.

Ah yes! I remember that being the case with Mae Muller. Back then, I used to check Spotify more on my computer, as I don’t have the counts on my phone.

Or Jamie Miller doing better on other platforms.

I think it's both quite honestly!

After last week, when we had the most exciting singles chart of 2026, we are back to dull and duller!
