A quick update. Thank you for your support everyone ❤️ I'm a little embarrassed as I was ready to do the results and the preparation had all been going smoothly, but the reality is that my real life situation can be unpredictable.

I walked outside for a while but I'm back home now and the person seems to have fallen asleep, so things are quiet now. I'm still shaken though tbh as I already have a history with anxiety and I've had a lot of negative experiences with people who abuse alcohol, so the situation tonight kind of brought me back to my past traumatic experiences with it. There was almost no way I would've been able to focus tonight.

I'll be moving house this weekend so hopefully things will calm down a bit then. I'll keep you updated on the results.

So, I am in town doing various things today and will be staying at a b&b tonight. I'm safe and feeling better right now (as I'm not at home) so if it's okay with you guys, I would like to continue the results today, in early evening, in the library, after my movie at the cinema (which starts in a couple hours). My movie ends at about 5.30 and I can be back at the library at about 5.45. The library closes at 7.30 and I'm also treating myself to some kind of cello + vocal concert at the local arts centre at 8pm. After that, I'm going to the b&b for the night, where I will finish the results if I still haven't done so.

How does that sound?

Obviously reiterating what everyone else said already - I slept through the whole evening yesterday so on a selfish note I'm kinda glad this got delayed so I can hopefully actually be here for the rest of it hehe

I was delighted with the reaction to otay:onii at the listen through <3 and I seemed to go completely undetected, I remember pushing the conversation in Rollo's direction due to the song being 10 minutes long but no, it was me, 'Tears Won't Tell' immediately blew me away when I came across it.

The hype is very exciting, as I've never even finished top 5 in Unknown Pleasures before, but we'll see.

Top marks from the host at this point is an honour anyway, thank you Mattias! Glad I returned high points.

Two things:

I'm not sure if it's supposed to happen that you have to expand the quote to see the votes in full Sorry about that!

Also the scoreboards might be better viewed on a laptop than a phone (too wide for phone) - sorry about that too!

Jade really took spooky and intense to a whole new level

'Tears Won't Tell' blew me away the first time I heard it too. I knew it before and it was actually the potential I had that I mentioned. I was thinking of sending it to BJSC but thought it might be too intense or something LOL, so to send it to Unknown Pleasures was genius imo (I didn't even think of that).

I was guessing at the listenthrough that otay:onii would have been uhsting's, did not suspect Jade at all for that one but what a great find ❤️ (good pick from our host as well from those unveiled last night, serving similar ASMR vibes to that one Ohota BJSC entry (which I got on shuffle today coincidentally x), also solid entries from Scene and Jaz, I realised I had actually heard the Kelsey Lu song already as it was in the PopJustice Song Contest).
