Didgeridoo in the club Bananarama demonstrating Jessie Ware levels of fluctuation in my votes by going from top to bottom, apologies!

16 hours ago16 hr Kate Bush - The Big Sky (Meteorological Mix) (I have to give top marks to Kate for the first time for the discovery of the round, this is an absolutely wonderful find and works so well as a floor filler, bravo!)Texas - Mr Haze (GBX & Paul Keenan Remix) (the best song they have released since the 00s imo, I already knew this banging clubland remix and hoped it would be played although admittedly don't know any of their other remixes at all. This version is quite faithful to the original and keeps the fab Donna Summer sample in tact, while bringing Sharleen onto the dancefloor, lovely choice)Sophie Ellis-Bextor & Wuh Oh - Hypnotized (Hypnotise-Ed, this is a very unique track for that prounciation and one of Sophie's best of the last few years, a real banger)MARINA - Radioactive (She continues to do no wrong, brilliant play and another Marina song that should have been a much bigger hit than it was although that dance sound was a bit of a shock to the system at the time following The Family Jewels)Disclosure feat. Sam Smith - Omen (a really nice track indeed, very slick and smooth and one that's overlooked these days so it was good to hear it again. I very much hope we see Latch too, which would be even higher for me)Darin - Give Me Tonight (Another very solid choice from Darin's mentor, I agree with the Don't Wake Me Up comparison, I did always like that song for my sins and this came out around the same time so the production choice and style checks out. This album was full of bangers and even had a Lil Jon feature on it, as well as the fab Nobody Knows)New Order - Confusion (Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix) (I was certainly banging my head and thinking 'bass in the place London' although would have been fine if it was half as long, as it's basically on a loop throughout)Adele - Hometown Glory (High Contrast Remix) (I expect strong Adele remixes are few and far between so I feel for their mentor - this is a good rework though)Depeche Mode - Just Can't Get Enough (Schizo Mix) (I always preferred the Saturdays cover which I know is criminal, obviously very catchy and a classic, but the extended nature of it didn't add too much for me)Zara Larsson & Robyn - Puss Puss (Girls Trip) (surprisingly enough considering Robyn is on it, it wasn't one of my favourites on the remix project)Sam Fender - Seventeen Going Under (it certainly did stick out in this round! It's obviously a strong song but as I've said before, Sam really came alive for me on the People Watching album, and this is in the like category for me)Bananarama - Now or Never (quite a nice track, very 2010s sound to it and is suitably clubby for them)Fontaines D.C. - In ár gCroíthe go deo (Orbital Remix) (I do see why this won Club Bizarre, but I didn't vote for it then - it's decent though)

11 hours ago11 hr 01 MARINA - Radioactive how have I never paid this song attention before?! LOVE. IT. A perfect choice for this round without having to go the remix route. Marina's mentor is playing a blinder this season. Meticulous strategy throughout. 02 Darin - Give Me Tonight I'm fast becoming a Darin stan so thank you mystery mentor! The "tonight" runs on the chorus are for some reason taking me back to sophomore-era Alexandra Burke and I'm here for it! 03 Adele - Hometown Glory (High Contrast Remix) this has been perhaps the biggest shock of the round for me - what a banging remix. On paper Adele should've been in danger this round but her mentor played a blinder here! Also, is it just me that gets All The Things She Said vibes from the intro? 04 Depeche Mode - Just Can't Get Enough (Schizo Mix) love the original (surely that could've just been sent? lol) but this is a fantastic remix tbf. Thank goodness we got to see it played (in some form). 05 Fontaines D.C. - In ár gCroíthe go deo (Orbital Remix) I thought they were singing "in our greenhouse" until I read the title properly. This is such a ****ing good remix!!!06 New Order - Confusion (Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix) a 10 minute song?! X Factor could never. A highly enjoyable ten minutes even if I didn't know the original version! Hopefully this sees New Order bounce back because I need Blue Monday!! 07 Sam Fender - Seventeen Going Under this is akin to Tik Tok being a rock song and Pussy Palace being a ballad. Joseph is this you again? Incredible song though tbf so I can't put it near the bottom. 08 Sophie Ellis-Bextor & Wuh Oh - Hypnotized while I really enjoy this, I actually thought I enjoyed it more until I listened. The chorus is a bit too clunky for my liking even if the "hypnotiz-ed" has its charm. 09 Kate Bush - The Big Sky (Meteorological Mix) up there with the best Kate discoveries (i.e. anything but the BIG TWO) for me this contest.10 Bananarama - Now or Never the production on this is fabulous. The rest I'm not so keen on.12 Texas - Mr Haze (GBX & Paul Keenan Remix) not bad - just doesn't compare to the others above it imo.11 Zara Larsson & Robyn - Puss Puss (Girls Trip) not feeling this tbh. 13 Disclosure feat. Sam Smith - Omen never could quite get into this (maybe I expected too much after Latch? lol) and listening again doesn't change that. Sorry!
