February 6, 200719 yr Perhaps the point is going to arrive soon when there will be no mid-week charts announced, that would annoy me seeing as I enjoy to see how a song is selling earlier in the week.
February 6, 200719 yr i think it's probably because they have a lot more data to accumulate now, it may become regular to recieve it later
February 6, 200719 yr I actually wonder if there is even going to be a mid-week chart announced today, what's the latest on a Tuesday you have recieved it before?
February 6, 200719 yr Author I actually wonder if there is even going to be a mid-week chart announced today, what's the latest on a Tuesday you have recieved it before? It once appeared round about 4-30pm, so there is still hope
February 6, 200719 yr Well it's gone 4:30 which leaves even less hope for getting any mid-weeks today, however maybe there might be some this evening.
February 6, 200719 yr Author No more news from MW, my guess they forgot to type it up  its been done before, all done for the day. We just have to make do with thin air for today  , hopefully get something later or tomorrow morning, sorry guys, there is nothing I can do
February 6, 200719 yr From Teletext (reliable): Singles 1. Mika (''certain number one'') 11-40 Kaiser Cheifs Jessica Simpson 2Pac Erick E Long Blondes Justin Timberlake Albums 1. Bloc Party 2. Mika (only 2000 behind) 3. Fall Out Boy
February 6, 200719 yr Music Week report (thanks to Steveweiser at Chart Refugees for posting) Bloc Party ahead in mid-week album tussle 06 February 2007 - 16:44:32 Its all-out war in the mid-week album charts, with Bloc Party currently topping the pile with second album A Weekend In The City (Wichita), just ahead of Mika’s Life In Cartoon Motion (Island). Despite the early lead, Mika is likely to sell steadily throughout the week and as opposed to the East London quartet, who are likely to sell more strongly at the beginning of the week. In the singles chart, Mika continues his massive lead at the top, outselling Fall Out Boy by a margin of nearly three to one. This should give him his fourth reign at the top on Sunday, although sales are already beginning to dip with the release of his album. There are only four new entries in this week’s Top 75 singles, the highest being Kaiser Chiefs’ Ruby (download only at the moment) at 33. The Long Blondes enter three places below it. The Fray are currently up five places with their American smash How To Save A Life moving 10-5, while Sophie Ellis Bextor moves 28-14 with dancefloor hit Catch You. Nelly Furtado climbs 20 places to 17 with Say It Right, the fourth single from her Loose album. Other notable entries in the albums chart include Cold War Kids at 25 with Robbers And Cowards, The Hours’ Narcissus Road at 36 and Bowling For Soup’s The Great Burrito Extortion Case at 44. February 6, 200719 yr Thanks Spiker. :D Doesn't sound too good for Kelis if they've failed to mention her in the update when they have mentioned the rest of the download only entries, having said that they don't mention Gwen or Akon either. I hope Kaisers continue to climb throughout the week and I think The Fray may also manage to climb a position or two on such a boring singles sales week, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Nelly Furtado are also doing very well. :D Edited February 6, 200719 yr by TheOrdinaryArcticBoy
February 6, 200719 yr Told you the Bloc would be #1 :P Lets just hope they can keep MIKA off throughout the week :cheer: And I can't believe The Long Blondes are only going to scrape the chart  then again I didn't even know it was out until I saw it and bought it in HMV today.
February 6, 200719 yr Pretty bad news about the Long Blondes...but it is a re-release and everyone's got the album now. Here's hoping Bloc Party can hold Mika off.
