Alexia - Goodbye (2000)

LOVE Alexia  This song wasn't a hit here, but she did promote it - I saw an interview with her and the video played on one of the very first ITV2 shows (no idea what it was called though, and don't think I still have it. This on the other hand...

was a massive and undeservedly forgotten UK hit. Uh La La La

I think Uh La La is incredibly overrated. Her best songs werent released in the UK imo, Summer Is Crazy, Me And U, Number One, Goodbye, etc.

this band had a few more classics than I had previously remembered, my favourite being:

Private Number (1999)

That's true, all great songs. Pity she records only in Italian these days.

This was a great song IMO when it was released and i consider it a forgotten classic

Late 90s-early 2000s pop Medley - see how many you remember

Part 1

Part 2

  • 3 weeks later...

Recognised it instantly. How did it flop so badly? When I first heard it, I thought the chorus was "I paint my nails and I light my coffee"... It is the gayest song on earth, but I mean that in a good way :) Speaking of gay but good... Anytone remember 2wo Third3?

I Want The World

I Want To Be Alone

Ease The Pressure

Ease The Pressure was my fave, but I was surprised the other day to see it never charted. I Want The World was their biggest hit, and it's brill, but I nvever rated I Want To Be Alone. Their songwriter and producer Biff went on to write and produce the Spice Girls and many others...
