October 18, 200717 yr To get the correct number one on the day you were born, you have to know these things.... Between Feb 69 - Sept 87, the uk radio 1 chart changed on a Tuesday around 12.45pm. The dates books give are week/ending dates i.e. Saturdays mostly. The week-ending Saturday 15th Feb 69 (was actually a chart announced the tuesday before). From Oct 87, the week-ending date 0f 10th Oct 87...the chart would have been announced the Sunday before! Like as previous to Feb 11th 69, Radio 1, used an averaged chart...not in any book!!
