Yes, he really should have. :( As this single has done a lot better than expected, I hope there's still a chance he could release it properly.

This is my favourite Mika single so far! I couldn't stand his past two.

There's always one record to come out of Ibiza each summer that everyone is talking about and this years champion comes in the form of Samim's massive 'Heater'. Yes, the one with the accordion! - HMV

Am I the only one really irritated that Mika has been such a big commercial success, yet the vastly superior & critically acclaimed Rufus Wainwright can't buy a Top40 hit?
This song is terrible  sounds like something you'd hear in a penny arcade.

So we have the following left:

Westlife

Take That

Leona

Ronson/Winehouse

Sugababes

Britney

McFly

Timbaland

Freemasons

The Hoosiers

Ida Corr/Fedde Le Grand

With two hit singles already under their belt, York quintet Elliot Minor have quietly infiltrated the charts and are poised to crash into the mainstream in a major fashion. Heralded by Kerrang! as “Muse meeting Fall Out Boy”, the band have already charted with their debut 'Parallel Worlds' and the Top 20 follow-up 'Jessica' and played to a 10,000 capacity festival crowd at Download’s Dimebag Darrell Stage. It’s evident that Elliot Minor are Britain’s biggest best kept secret.

The band are currently mixing their debut album. Produced by Jim Wirt (Hoobastank, Incubus), their self titled album was recorded in Los Angeles earlier this year. Musically, Elliot Minor mix influences ranging from the piano-infused hard rock of ‘Time After Time’ to the sonically charged ‘Parallel Worlds’, which is embellished with grandiose orchestration. They deliver pitch perfect three-way vocal harmonies on the infectious ‘The White One is Evil’ and add an undertone of ultra-melodic punk to ‘Still Figuring It Out’. - HMV

Wow, you can easliy here the classical and Fall Out Boy influence on this one but it charts 8 spots lower than their last hit

Fedde has prepared his third salvo – and it's fair to say this young Dutchman is on a roll. 'Let Me Think About It' is a masterclass in dancefloor mechanics and pop sensibilities. Fedde has remixed Ida Corr's original into one of the most addictive and ingenious dance records for time. - HMV

The first single to be lifted from the new album 'As I am' is the smooth ballad 'No One'. Written and produced by Keys' long-time collaborator Kerry "Krucial" Brothers and Dirty Harry, the track showcases her powerful vocals to perfection. - HMV

A long return trip to the charts for Alicia and I predict that this will be her biggest hit since "Fallen" reached #3 six years when it reached the top 10 in 2 weeks. Also if I remeber correctly the Kid Rock/Tommy Lee brawl happened around the time Alicia performed this song at the VMA this year

Edited by redsox

Does anyone have the sales figures for the albums to see how far britney was from number 1?
