7.6k

omg dat is really bad.

only another 2.4k on tues.

total 7.6k that means it will end up doing about 22k.

thanx

Yes, something very strange is happening on itunes with CTS right now, its not even top 100 in pop :arrr:

7.6k? for the Spice Girls  Blessums :(

Its a far cry from the 300,000 + they could shift in a week, 10 years ago.

I'm happy Girls Aloud are doing really well. Hopefully the album stays Top 5.

The days of SG selling 382k in its first wk for goodbye are gone, even LLLTW & Holler sold 140k

For some reason I've In The Ghetto on the brain each time I see an Elvis track, 2 more weeks and it be all over, thank god for that.

I bet next year it be Cliff Richard hits, his 50 years in showbiz

   what next, its getting worse and worse, no one really cares about those dumb re-releases :w00t:

I'm a sucker for a good ballad and I love the Spice Girls, but it really amazes me how anyone can love their new song. It's OK, but there's nothing about it at all... I tried to like it but imo, it deserves to flop and I'm ALMOST glad it's going to.

Gobsmacking huh? :o

They were lazy whores that's why. They thought releasing a poor track - for 'charity' and miming their way through the one chance they had to get major promotion is going to cut it. Just because of their name they think they can release anything and it'll be huge. I am thrilled to bits to be seeing them on tour next year and yes I have the GH because I have been a fan since I was 8 years old ffs but I can understand why people might not want to part with their cash when they could have most of the songs already and the extra tracks we were promised like you said have vanished into oblivion. I'm glad they came back but they really did mess up the cd tracklistings etc.

As for Headlines - I know people say its c**p. It's actually a really good song. Only if you compare it to their old hits you can call it c**p. I personally think it's one of the best songs around atm but hey ho.

what really bugs me s that that is exactly what westlife do and it works for them. surely people should realise the same is true of them too.

Girls Aloud for No.1 next week! CTS is one of the best, if not THEIR BEST!

Im sure you got a couple wrong such as stop 191k and Holler/Let love lead the way 135k

I see people are still slating the Spice Girls, and those stats for first week releases look a bit too high aswell. Oh and if you LOVE the Spice Girls why would you want their single to flop????

To prove to all record producers/artists out there that fans are not little sheep. They will not buy anything that's thrust under their noses just because it has a name on it. That's why :funky:

Of course, it's a bit gutting that it's the Children In Need song.

Their all correct, bar maybe Holler and Stop :P their rounded off to the nearest thousand.

I would never slate them :o But yeah compared to their other songs Headlines is $h!te. And if it wasnt them i probably would hate it.

I know it's not fair. I rekon if pestlife went away and came back 10 years later and did same old covers without any real promotion, they wud fail too.

I wouldn't hate it but ur rite, comparing it to their old hits, it's shouldn't even be a b-side.

If someone else sang it it shouldn't even enter the top 30.

It is a nice song and it does have SPICE stamped all over it.

Has anyone seen Athlete's new single in the shops this week, it has not made the top 200 chart :o
The girls have no one to blame, but themselves. The song isn't very radio friendly, video could've been better & then any promo they had planned was ruined because of Mel B on Dancing With The Stars

I don't feel sorry for 5 bored rich women who think they can make a Take That-style comeback with, what is after all, a poor song. The GBP clearly have a great affection for Take That and they don't for the Spice Girls. I'm glad they've been given a bloody nose.

Plus Patience was a great song. Perhaps they should have asked Gary Barlow to write them a comeback song?
