Other than that, I can only think of Alexis Strum's 'I'll See You This Christmas' (even though it wasn't even released), I think it's really beautiful.

I don't think so. :( I think Mariah should re-record the song, once the X Factor is over for good, keeping it almost exactly the same but with a more recent vocal on it and then release it. It should get to #1 that way. If not, she should definitely release it physically a few years down the line and properly promote it, once the X Factor is cancelled.
