Yesterday's Presidential decree has already had a massive effect on the nature of promotion within BuzzJack, with the announcement of Afternoon Ca-mo-mille Tea spawning even more Loose Lingerie rip-offs than is considered culturally acceptable by President Karasol. Today's announcements regarding the BuzzJack Song Contest are as follows:

• ACT is already down to five remaining slots, with talks underway with IBK Alpha (the leading television channel in Kopečka) to increase the available slots to three performance slots per show. ACT premiers tomorrow with a performance from Darin of Botanikka and an interview and performance with the Farahtynian representatives by host Camille.
• Profits are soaring as Kopečekers rush to buy tickets for their favourite artists who are visiting the nation in the coming fortnight, beginning tomorrow.
• La Roux has begun her whistle-stop promotional tour, with sell-out performances in BaNG and Sangria yesterday receiving critical reviews, and a double performance today in FSR Rontvia receiving plaudits from Rontvian observers despite worries that the song may be losing popularity in the country (repaired with an electropop remix of Boys & Girls by La Roux). A performance at JRK-off was received with annoying indifference despite a cover of 'T-Shirt', with La Roux's final performance in Siobah's Bhux Arena in Quotosibb receiving an ecstatic reaction along with a cover of Dream On!
• Camille today released her promotional adverts for ACT, with performances, camomile tea and boots in various shades of pink announced as tomorrow's key features!

Ojnoj Update:

 

Well why only perform to a sell out crowd once, when you can do it twice? That's exactly what Gavin did these past couple of days in FSR Rontvia. "[FSR] Rontvia is a lovely place, so enthusiastic and so welcoming. I'm more than happy to be here." As he was backstage on Night 1 of FSR Rontvia, he said "I am so nervous, but excited and anxious all at the same time" The crowd were gathered and after being warmed up by tribute acts to Maria and Mira, they were on fire and as soon as Gavin came out, he thanked them all for coming and started to perform "Fight the Sky" to which they were all singing along and knew the words! He then went on to perform some unknown hits "Days Gone By" & "Back For Me". He then Did a VERY Special medley of FSR Rontvia's First 6 entries. Before going onto performing "Brave" Which is Ojnoj's entry this month. The crowd were "awesome and I'm so happy to be performing twice for them. Roll on tomorrow"

 

2nd day and before his show, Gavin decided to take a tour of FSR Rontvia and he said the place is just "Stunning, it's Beautiful here. I may have to emmigrate here" he laughed. Then he had to go and rehearse for tonights show. Backstage before the show, he said "I am alot more chilled and relaxed tonight, but obviously still a bit nervous." He came on and performed "Take" and "God in this Moment" before going on to perform "Fight the Sky". He then did another medley but this time it was a medley of the 6 most recent entries from FSR Rontvia. Including their new entry "Miss Blue". He then went on to say, "if Vincent fails to qualify, then there is something really wrong with the Buzzjack world." He then thanked the fans for turning up and supporting him tonight. He finished off the set with Ojnoj's next entry "Brave", which went down pretty decently. But whether they actually vote, is another thing!

Red Blooded Women arrive in FSR Rontvia for first of two shows

 

Ashtonise favourites Red Blooded Women arrived in FSR Rontvia for their first of two shows. Following their highly anticipated appearance on Loose Lingerie the girls signed cd's at Constarvan's main record store for Ashtonise music, SugaRontRecords.

 

Their sold out concert kicked off at 7pm with former entry Colour Me Dirty, the Rontvian 12pointer in BJSCVII

 

 

Following the amazing response from the crowd, the band gave into demands and sang it again, this time adding their Colour Me Pjanoo remix at the end

 

 

Next on the set list was their medley of Ashtonise and Rontvian former entries. They sang: Love Song, Smack Me!, I Don't Know, Colour Me Dirty, Headhunted, Barrowland Ballroom and Boys & Girls. Followed by Spotlights, Attraction and Synthesiser. The song which was nearly sent to BJSCVII

 

 

The group ended the performance with their current single and entry You Made Your Bed.

 

 

Red Blooded Women are hoping You Made Your Bed hits the top spot on the Rontvian charts, like it has on the Ashtonise charts. The girls are doing another record signing in Constarvan tomorrow morning before going holiday home hunting in the afternoon.

FSR Rontvia - Show 2

 

After a successful record signing in the morning and an even more successful afternoon house hunting Liz, Candy and Carly headed back to the arena they performed at last night for another concert.

 

First up this time was the girls cover of Freak Like Me, an early Sugababes hit. It was quickly followed by 4 2nite the b-side to BJSCXII entry You Made Your Bed. After a quick breather and chat with the crowd the girls launched into their #3 Rontvian hit single Colour Me Dirty. Followed by the magnificent Colour Me Pjanoo (also a hit reaching #7) in full!

 

 

Following the steller 6minute remix the crowd were fully pumped up and Red Blooded Women more than delivered firing off Attraction and Spotlight, a song which is rumoured to be their third single.

The girls wrapped up a energetic evening with a medley of BJSC songs: Mine All Mine, Will You Remember Me Tomorrow, Fuck You, Black Butta and Colour Me Dirty before finishing with their current single and entry You Made Your Bed, which they hope will give them their first number one in the country.

Inner Massivia's "Some Kind Of Fool Tour" hits FSR Rontvia

 

Yesterday on the eleventh day of our "Some Kind Of Fool" tour, Inner Massivia arrived in fascinating FSR Rontvia. It marked the twentieth stop of the tour and was one all the artists were looking forward to given the very high reputation FSR Rontvia has for sending high quality entrants to the BJSC.

 

First up on the day was our entry into this month's XIIth contest, Leona Lewis with her collaboration with MC Anon, Fool:

 

 

Leona thanks MC Anon and takes centre stage herself:

 

 

What a surprise! Take That flew in to join Leona despite their busy schedule promoting their album. As Leona kisses the boys good luck she departs the stage leaving the boys to launch in to their latest #1 single:

 

 

As Leona would say, amazing. The final guest artist is Leona's hero, Stevie Wonder:

 

 

Just simply iconic. Leona returns for the last song of the evening:

 

 

A great reception for Leona and all her guest artists. Inner Massivia would like to pass on their thanks to the people of FSR Rontvia for hosting the fourth stop on the Vinorel leg of our tour. As Stevie himself said, there's no need to be superstitious about your chances in BJSC XII.

Vincent has failed to qualify for the final of BJSCXII despite receiving points from 15 of the 22 voting countries. Rontvian TV Network are said to be disappointed at the result but have vowed to carry on and try something different again in XIII...whether or not this is a return to Rontvia's roots remains to be seen

I bet we see a Scandinavian entrant in January :kink:

It's been a case of hit-flop-hit-flop-hit-flop for Rontvia recently hasnt it. I was very sad to see Vincent not making the final, definatly the best male entry this month.
