I think it's a grower! Not an instant hit on first listen, but I should LOVE it rather quickly!

I think it could well be 2008's answer to the Kaiser Chief's Ruby. That was a grower of a song which had lukewarm reviews at first from the media/public, but by the time of release it gave a band their 1st UK number one with the lead single from their second album...

could be, but even tho ruby was v average in comparison to the previous wonderful stuff, this could be seen as being as horrid, as awful or maybe worse than the very irretating records that the feeling have release previously. i nearly puked at its existence

This song is DULLLLLL. It goes nowhere, lyrically void of any flare what-so-ever; "I thought it was over but it's not" x20. There's an obvious joke in there...

 

I wonder if Radio 1 will playlist it. If they don't, I'd expect a pretty heavy 'sophomore slump' and it won't be undeserved either.
