January 4, 200817 yr I hope pop-pianist Vanessa Carlton has a good year this year, along with R&B vocalist Jamelia (if she finishes writing & recording in time).
January 4, 200817 yr 2008 will be the year of pop music and i think indie acts will find it hard,i cant see madonna or dido having an trouble selling records this year as they have a strong following,it will be interesting to see how boyzone sell on the comeback asi think take that have done the comeback so well it makes it hard for boyzone

January 17, 200817 yr All of my Top 5 Artists are confirmed/rumoured to be releasing: Nelly Furtado. What? Is this that Spanish album or a completely new studio album. 4th ain't a good number, its prone to flopping.
January 17, 200817 yr Completely new album :P Just rumours at the moment though... Some Missy Elliot duet was rumoured :/  Well its 2 years since Loose was released in June. So i expect it late this year or early next year at the latest....

January 18, 200817 yr What? Is this that Spanish album or a completely new studio album. 4th ain't a good number, its prone to flopping. I don't know about that. P!nk's fourth album hardly flopped. But then, unlike Nelly, her third album was hardly massive.
January 18, 200817 yr Out of those you mentioned I hope U2, The Kooks, Oasis, Mariah Carey, Madonna will flop I used to like Mariah before she jumped on the R&B bandwagon. I also hope McFly, Westlife, Beyonce & Britney flop their next recordings. I do hope that Duffy makes it big. Edited January 18, 200817 yr by Euro Music

January 18, 200817 yr Euro Music, Mariah's been doing R&B for years and was one of the first to successfully use the typical 'singer & rapper' collaboration that there are so many of today, so I fail to see how she jumped on the bandwagon, unlike Madonna is doing with her next album.
January 18, 200817 yr Isn't it early for Enrique to release a greatest hits? this quickly at least? His last album did quite well for the album climate these days. J Lo, Craig David and SEB however.....shouldn't he still be releasng from his last album? We've had, what, 2 singles? Edited January 18, 200817 yr by T Boy

J Lo, Craig David and SEB however.....shouldn't he still be releasng from his last album? We've had, what, 2 singles? He's been having success here since 1999 so he's got a more valid cause for one than many artists
January 18, 200817 yr I fully believe Enrique is ready for a Greatest Hits-but this February? Around Christmas would be more likely. Must be a rumour cos a February release is only 8 months after his last album.
