February 13, 200817 yr Author Funny enough Rockferry by Duffy was Top 40 yesterday, I wonder if they got the wrong track mixed up with Mercy yesterday, unless its bubbling under, as Biffy, Coral, and Flo Rider has gone out, to make way for 3 new tracks in the top 40. Edit that its bubbling under, just realised Jacko is back in.

February 13, 200817 yr According to Haven (thou I don't know what is their source) Nickelback is 234 copies ahead of Basshunter today so if the gap will continue to grow like this Wed/Thurs I think Basshunter will outsell Nickelback easily by Saturday nite. But appearantly Duffy has sold almost 10k so she might get to the top this week if her sales will cointinue to grow this way.
February 13, 200817 yr What I find ironic is now that new number ones are becoming less frequent, you would think the quality of such tracks would therefore be of a lot better. So why have NickelCACK and Basshunter, 2 absolutely diabolical records, hogged the top end of the charts for so long?

And I can tell you, because of the crashing of my PC...as we missed out Next Weeks Chart on Mon, we actually found Basshunter, and Nickelback that close, we had to do a re-count. With Nickelback just having the edge.

So I was just speculating, I thought that is what people do in this thread also.
