February 17, 200818 yr Goldfrapp - A&E = the best single of 2008 so far for me (My Personal Chart #1 for the last 4 weeks). Still at least it went Top10.
February 17, 200818 yr Goldfrapp  . Sounds oddly... Scottish? . But good anyways. I don't think they've had a great deal of exposure tbh. No-one at school had heard of them :o 2nd best song ive heard in the last 2 hours, behind Something Good 08
February 17, 200818 yr 9 (from 12) The Feeling - I Thought It Was Over [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/1761837.JPG Chart Run: 12-9 [2 wks] Release date: 11-2-2008 Availability: in stock Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 1761837 Label: ISLAND The Feeling were one of a multitude of young U.K. bands to grab a moment or two in the spotlight during the mid 2000s. However, the band had a markedly different approach to rocking, passing on the typical Britpop and post-punk influences in favour of quirky MOR U.K. pop groups such as Supertramp and 10cc. The band's debut album, TWELVE STOPS AND HOME, combined the basic Britpop template with a pronounced '70s influence that encompassed everything from Beach Boys-like harmonies to the soft rock of the Eagles. - HMV Video here: 9RK4cUdmN8k track listing 1. February 17, 200818 yr Is it me or does Dan (from the Feeling) sound disappointed at only being #9 in the charts?
February 17, 200818 yr Feeling dropped to 9 (from the midweeks position)??? :o  Not bad considering - equalling the peak of the brilliant Never Be Lonely, and beating the #10 of Fill My Little World. Sewn is still their biggest at 7 though. Although, this is rather flop-esque for a comeback lead single.
February 17, 200818 yr Is it me or does Dan (from the Feeling) sound disappointed at only being #9 in the charts? I bet his record label was telling him he was a shoe in for #1
February 17, 200818 yr #9 is not a good result for their comeback single, serves them right though as the song is really horrible. I wonder how the album will fare? There seems to be very little buzz around it...

February 17, 200818 yr Well I definately thought The Feeling would be higher [even though the song is c**p]. I expected them to at least be top 5 but this in interesting. Maybe it means their album won't sell that well now. :cheer:
February 17, 200818 yr Feeling dropped to 9 (from the midweeks position)??? :o  Yeah im surprised too. I doubt they'll get another top 10 from this album, breakthrough/debut albums are the only albums that can generate more than two successful singles Edited February 17, 200818 yr by Harve
