Makes a change - a not bad tracklisting. Even if Soulja Boy and Leon Jackson are on it.

(Also, I've just noticed - Steve Brookstein's the only X-Factor winner not to appear on a Now CD.)

Thats because he's $hit

Very accurately put

I have pre ordered this and I seriously cannot wait for it to be delievered! Probably going to be my fave Now album since Now 50! :D

Now 50 had classics ( ) such as:

Wyclef Jean - Perfect Gentlemen

City High - What would you do?

OPM - Heaven is a halfpipe

Wheatus - A Little Respect

Mis-Teeq - One Night Stand

Allstars - Things that go bump in the night! :o

N Trance - Set You Free - The ORIGINAL and Best! lol

and Afroman - Because I got High

The tracklists have improved; it does seem that pretty much EVERY big hit from the last few months is on here.

But tbh I would say that's more to do with the slowdown in the UK charts than anything else.

Before, there would have been hundreds of top 20 hits for the compilers to choose from. No more.

OMG Thats my fave as well! Even though it did have "Mambo No. 5" from Bob The Builder

And these (Alphabeat or Taio Cruz or OneRepublic) arent even out physically yet! :o

What about the timing of

Utah Saints – Something Good '08

more than enough to warrant me buying the album as I didn't buy many of these songs on single and its nice to have them to be able to play on a CD

Yes indeed. Will certainly be buying this album.

Something else I've noticed about this - Shayne Ward is the only X-Factor winner that hasn't finished CD1.

I won't be buying it.

Not really a strong enough tracklist to warrant my money.

I wonder if this will harm the Utah Saints release

Doubtful - I have thought in the past that a Now album would harm a track doing well on single at the time, and every one that I kept my eye on was not noticeably affected.

Hmmm... very good Point! It could help it though to be honest but i guess we will have to wait and see! ;)

You mean like how its appearance on Now 46 harmed Spiller making No1 in 2000?

It could be argued that Se:Sa and Peter Gelderblom flopped because they were featured on Now 68. On the other hand, there are songs on Now 68 which are still top 40 now (Take That, Mark Ronson, Leona) so it obviously didn't harm them

Michael Andrews and Gary Jules-Mad World was on Now 56 a good month at least prior to it coming out on single and it did the song no harm at all despite the xmas Now albums being by far the biggest selling...

I doubt Peter Gelderblom or Se:Sa would have been any bigger than they were...they are both awful :puke:

The sales that Utah Saints might lose out to Now 69 is minimal...perhaps 100 copies at most. Anyway, when the Now albums are added to iTunes people cherry pick their favourite tracks off them so Utah Saints may well get a sales boost along with a lot of other acts on that compilation...
