March 18, 200818 yr Hi Martin :) It makes me laugh when some radio stations, support ageing popstars like Madonna but if you are british and male, they don`t <_< How many spots are these up/down since Sunday`s chart? :D Foals, Dilinquent, Valerie, We are Scientists, Goldfrapp, Jay Sean, Feeling, Mystery Jets?
March 18, 200818 yr I think Girls Aloud have peaked now as a band, don't see them ever getting into the higher echelons of the success league, they'll never conquer America and Europe now. I envisage they will gradually end up going solo soon and then that will be it. Peaked as a band when they've just had the 2nd highest selling single of their career yeh?

A few years ago men were dominating the charts. Now its women. I don't really know if its done by that anyway, just what songs connect with the public
March 18, 200818 yr Peaked as a band when they've just had the 2nd highest selling single of their career yeh? Add to the fact that their going on their biggest arena tour - doing as many dates as Westlife performing to 270,000 people. And Tangled Up is one of thier longest charting albums in the top 75 and Call the Shots one of their longest charting singles, and Can't Speak French having already spent 2 weeks in the top 20 before its even released. Yeah i can see they had already peaked
