July 30, 200816 yr I love this song!. It's being released too soon though; 'Sweet About Me' is still Top5 on Airplay.
August 2, 200816 yr This will be her equivalent of Sam Sparro's 21st Century Life and flop MEGA! Yes but this song is actually decent :(
August 2, 200816 yr This is way better than 21st century life, this is really catchy, 21cl isnt. Doubt this will flop. Edit- is she getting a US release?? hope she does, interested to see how SAM does. Edited August 2, 200816 yr by utoia2004
August 2, 200816 yr This might climb up the chart as a slow burner like SAM did. This doesn't deserve to flop.
August 3, 200816 yr I heard this when I was out tonight and it sounded a bit better loud (and drunk). She should still be releasing 'Don't Want To Go To Bed Now' instead, I knew releasing this as the second single would guarantee to make her a one hit wonder. -_-
August 6, 200816 yr This will be her equivalent of Sam Sparro's 21st Century Life and flop MEGA! I think you may be right unfortunately and both songs don't deserve to flop IMO. I think the main reason they have/will flopped is because their debut singles are still going strong and are over-shadowing their second singles. :(
August 10, 200816 yr I think she should have waited really until Sweet About Me was nearing the end of its top 40 run.
August 10, 200816 yr I think she should have waited really until Sweet About Me was nearing the end of its top 40 run. Yeah, it's yet another case of releasing a follow-up too soon.
August 10, 200816 yr To be fair though, 'Sweet About Me' was first released about 6 months ago at least. They had to get the second single out eventually... I just really think they made the wrong choice releasing this second, which doesn't help the cause.
August 10, 200816 yr Yes, but the physical re-realese was in June and it was at that time that Sweet About Me peaked, they should have waited until September at least.
August 12, 200816 yr Yeah, it's yet another case of releasing a follow-up too soon. Six months after Sweet About Me is 'too soon'? :) I simply don't subscribe to the theory that continuing sales of a old single invariably hurt the follow-up. In any case, a really good song will muscle its way up via album downloads, regardless - e.g. Rihanna - Disturbia Having said that, I think 'Don't Want To Go To Bed Now' would have made a better 2nd single. I know...how long is she supposed to wait for gods sake...Sweet About Me will probably still be in the top 40 in January! or at least it will return to the top 40 in the 'lets buy old songs with our xmas gift cards' week!
