I wonder why this suddenly climbed...?
Hello :)

Hi everyone who has just joined the chart thread :cheer:

It'd be good if Rihanna got to #1 on downloads a year on from when she first did it, but I'm happy that the Ting Tings will be #1 and Rihanna most likely next week.

This cover isn't too bad really! :o

And I should think it's climbed because it's video got put on music channels this week.

Oh I really love 'Beat It'. One of Wacko Jacko's best songs and FOB do an awesome job on it :D

Though I don't even hear this John Mayer bloke, maybe it's just me.

I quite liked this version of 'Beat It' ^_^

Along with fellow Cash Money Click labelmate Juvenile, Lil Wayne is one of the most important MCs in the unfairly overlooked early 21st-century New Orleans rap scene. Blunt ghetto narratives about the hustler's life and woozy nearly psychedelic free associations fill Wayne's albums, but it's his allegiance to his home town that makes him a unique and forceful presence in hip-hop, and an important reminder that there is more to the Big Easy than Fats Domino and Dr. John. - HMV

Hmmm. I was thinking exactly the same thing

I think he might have been playing guitar.

I dont actually mind the Falloutboy song, it grows on every listen but Lollipop is awful though.
Lil Wayne... yet another US number 1 hip hop song try to get to number 1 in the UK.
