The long awaited album from Coldplay is finally unleashed on us next Thursday, what do you think its final sales for the first week, bearing in mind its released on a Thursday, will it do over 100k, 200k, 300k

I was thinking of maybe getting this, not a fan of Coldplay but Viva La Vida is AWSOME! I reckon around 240k.

200k I think - things have changed since X&Y sold over 400k in a week back in 2005.

Hmm, Violet Hill was released as a free download for a week before its download only release. I don't think this is a fair statement <_<

Given the Thursday release, I'll say 180k (80k Th,50k Fr, 70k Sa), with 200k the following (full) week.
