I already have my contenders - although one is a new song by a well known band....

I was thinking about Mariah Carey for my next entry. But she is absolutely DETESTED by the majority of people on this site. Which is actually strange as its BJ.

I am currently thinking about the song Natasha Thomas - Save Your Kisses For Me, it's a great one :wub:

Picking artists is very difficult, at the moment I'm leaning towards Tegan and Sara, but I only really got into them a couple of weeks ago so I'll porbably lose all interest by the next compo.

I have just come across an amazing song demo (posted today), that if it remains out there on youtube, I think I'm near certain to enter as Nonsuch's BJSC9 entry.

 

I'm saying no more, for now, but I think a lot of people will really like it and it has the potential to become a gigantic huge hit single in 2009 for this act.

:rofl: I was gonna use them :rofl: SERIOUSLY I was listening to their song on my mp3 on the way to work and back and i was like, hmmm how would this do... but tbh I dont think itd do all that well :cry:

Simondly's representitives September have wowed countries with their tour of performances including their entry "Until I Die", it has been given rave reviews and will hopefully give Simondly their first top 10 finish.

Another Change For BJSC IX?

 

The ASC have reportedly contacted Amy MacDonald's agent about the 9th BJSC with a view to her representing one of the BJSC's most established countries.

 

Amy wowed the dictator at the recent 'A In The Park' Festival based at Balando near Kintross 50 miles outside of Holdvale in the north of Ashton

I think Amy would be a good choice for Ashton, she's different from any entries we've had before and has some brilliantly catchy songs, my personal favorite is 'run' but enterring a single may be a bit risky
