July 18, 200817 yr how's dizzee's lead over mcfly? is it convincing or not so much? :huh: i'm a bit dubious about believing the hmv c**k up until i hear it officially confirmed by hmv or an independent party. hearing it from the mcfly camp isn't good enough. hmv have never had problems before with the 3 cds offer so why now? its sounds like an excuse or a sly justification to launch the 2 txt single offers to boost their sales cause they lost the lead and have fallen to #2. sounds like dodgy tactics to me <_<

July 18, 200817 yr This txt thing is purely to get the #1 thing anyway. Look at it this way - why would your averge buyer care if that sale didn't help the chart position? They're just buying it for the music (unless you're a McFly fan and you're buying it to make #1 and like the music). As long as the cd is working then the customer isn't losing out so i reckon, that yes it may have happened, but the Mcfly camp are using it as a scare tactic for their fans to innitally buy the song again. If sales are missing then so be it, but i do think its very underhand to say that they're doing this txt thing because of the hmv crash when really the average customer has nothing to lose
