Its by far their best song, and it better be released. Say ruined things for them, this was the obvious 3rd single.

The music channels really pissed me off with the Say video though. They never played it!!! Even now they are still playing Stop and Stare. Whenever it comes on i'm like NOOOOOOOOOOOO PLAY SAY FFS!!! :arrr: No wonder it bombed... I think Mercy will do much better though (i hope it does!)

Yeah looking back they should have released this instead of Say. Mercy is such an epic track though. :lol: I can kinda see why the record company has maybe held off releasing the track, because of Duffy's track.

What i don't understand about One Republic is that people say their songs get old fast, but Stop And Stare is still growing on me :lol:

Mercy is a definate highlight and now that Stop & Stare has died down I think this should go AT LEAST Top 20 and TOP 10 is looking to be a dead cert though. I hope they get the chance to Re-Release 'Say' coz it is my favourite song by them and did NOT deserve to flop :(

I liked Say...I've liked but not loved all of their singles so I never did buy their album

I couldn't agree more with every single thing you said just there. 'Mercy' is easily one of the best on theire fantastic album and a re-release of 'Say' would be brilliant, the lack of promo and exposure was shocking :(

Amazing intro, amazing ending, and amazing in every part in between, though espescially the end and start :P . Great and challenging vocals actually, also gets rather heavy towards the end, for a One Republic song. Its really such an astonishing song, a grower, but only takes about 5 listens.

I have heard that before! :wub: I think it was a b-side to Say (All I Need) or Stop & Stare! (Their cover of Duffy was B-Side to one of them can't remember which one :lol:) but I do recognise the song :lol: so it must have been a b-side :unsure: I will check later!

Wikipedia says that Mercy was the B Side to Say and Hearing Voices was the B Side to Stop And Stare :unsure:

 

But its too amazing. You only described it with " :wub: " and no words. It deserves more than that! :angry: :P
