On one hand I'm pleased 'Spotlight' is being playlisted by Radio 2, on the other hand it probably means Radio 1 have snubbed her or she'd be on their playlist too. :(

Ugh that's such a myth though. They don't generally playlist 'new generic indie bands'. Name me examples like because I can't think of any :huh:

 

Besides, the only reason Jonas Brothers have been playlisted is because their record label (much like Miley Cyrus) are shelling out huge amounts of money to endeavor they do get playlisted...

Would anyone like to explain how airplay actually works? Is it common to accept "bribes" from labels to playlist a song?
