August 28, 200817 yr On one hand I'm pleased 'Spotlight' is being playlisted by Radio 2, on the other hand it probably means Radio 1 have snubbed her or she'd be on their playlist too. :(
August 28, 200817 yr which bANDS are you refering to Rich Nickelback & Pendulum :o no, nobody in particular I just meant, it's nice to see different genres being put on there instead of two generic new indie bands like 'The Wardrobes' and 'Pants On The Washing Line'
August 28, 200817 yr Another #69 hit for BWO ahead I'm predicting   this song is so old, it's on their 2006 album that I have! I don't think this one will even appeal to their hardcore fanbase, it's a ballad, and not their best ballad either...Open Door would have been better
August 28, 200817 yr Glad to see Sonny J and The Automatic are doing well on the playlists! Loving Cant Stop Movin' at moment! Hope it goes top 10 when its released
August 29, 200817 yr Author no, nobody in particular I just meant, it's nice to see different genres being put on there instead of two generic new indie bands like 'The Wardrobes' and 'Pants On The Washing Line' Ugh that's such a myth though. They don't generally playlist 'new generic indie bands'. Name me examples like because I can't think of any  Besides, the only reason Jonas Brothers have been playlisted is because their record label (much like Miley Cyrus) are shelling out huge amounts of money to endeavor they do get playlisted...
August 29, 200817 yr :yahoo: Iglu and Hartley are playlisted on Radio 2  *EDIT* A-List on Radio 1 too :o :yahoo: Edited August 29, 200817 yr by Johnjo07
August 30, 200817 yr I was thinking that exact same thing...just seems a bit of an odd thing to do. It's been their second biggest hit after Pendulum Nightmares already hasn't it? Or maybe Slam was bigger, but either way, it's still odd  I'd say Slam was bigger, maybe not in sales i don't know but its a classic now, and their best imo  Besides, the only reason Jonas Brothers have been playlisted is because their record label (much like Miley Cyrus) are shelling out huge amounts of money to endeavor they do get playlisted... Would anyone like to explain how airplay actually works? Is it common to accept "bribes" from labels to playlist a song?
