The boys are back in town. Boyzone are back after just getting back together 1 year ago after an 8 year split, with their comeback single Love you anyway which sounds very jazzy, a bit like Beach Boys. They have sold out Reunion tours and they are now wanting to excite fans with their new material of todays music. Love you anyway is their 18th release single which will be physically released on the 29th September.

So where do you think it'll chart

I love it, it's great very catchy  having said that I can't see it getting to No.1 but I'd like to hope they will have enough support to score yet another top 5 hit (a 17th?)

Well polyhex says they had 16 top 5 hits and Wiki if you count its 18 including the new one so one of them must have not been released properly -_- Oh and i voted Top 3 :D

I think they'll get to number 1 with it. Big fan base that ensured the tour was successful, if not a complete sell-out, successful nonetheless. They'll be doing tons of promotion the first beginning this Sunday in For One Night Only and well ... it just will.

Having said that I detested it when I first heard it, since then - although I still don't like it - the tune has been going through my head quite a bit (it seems to get non-stop play on The Hits). I think it is a decent enough tune for an album filler, but no way would I class that as single release material. Plus - the video is bloody awful.

uhm it doesn't sound that exciting to me... I'd say top10 tho.

It's going to break their run of Top 3 successes!

I would bet it that it will only go down a low-Top 10 hit and fall quickly out.

Top 3.

Love the song and the video. Great comeback. :D

Well there was a time in the late 90's when they could release any old rubbish and be No1 or there about, however they are returning to a vastly changed market. I think their fan base will still be strong so there'll be no problem reaching the top10 at least.

On the other hand there’s a lot of very strong competition around: Kings Of Leon should still be selling well, Will Young will have a sizeable hit, Oasis are strong one of the few acts to get a top10 hit on downloads alone when downloads sales were lower and physicals much higher. So I'm thinking top5 maybe sneaking into the top3 at a push.

Boyzone were always slightly below Take That’s level of success in the 90’s and I think it’ll be the same case with the comebacks in the 00’s!

Guys, they had a huge fanbase "back in the day".

They could either do a Take That or Spice Girls.

It doesn't nescessarily mean they will automatically get a Top 3 hit just because they were massive during "their time".

My god, this is awful. Low top 10 but hopefully lower than that.

I don't know :( I love it though :o

I went Top 10 but Top 5 and Top 3 are definately not out the question.

I love it! Very catchy, great funky beat. Might get the album!

I've said #1 even though its released the same time as Oasis - so I'm not really sure
if music like this appeals to more people than Oasis's new single... God help the country.

Thanks 411 for having the balls to say what I was thinking (but I was trying to be diplomatic). This song sucks big time. Still think it'll be number 1 and then sink quite quickly. It ain't no Patience though! I think Ronan is just using it to try to re-launch a solo career ... as apart from him (and possibly 5% Gateley) no-one else is singing the song! Keith Duffy looks fit though ... but what are the names of the other two?
