Posted September 14, 200816 yr A competitive week next week hinging on how well Kings Of Leons downloads hold up. If they hold up well with the CD out tomorrow you would have to say Sex On Fire would be the clear favourite, however if their downloads begin to wane or collapse it opens up a host of interesting permutations! + Could Katy Perry go back up to No1? + Could Cliff Richard’s sales increase ala The Millennium Prayer? + Could McFly shift another 28k or more just on physicals? + Could Will Young storm to the top on download sales alone?
September 14, 200816 yr I also think it'll be Kings of Leon. Katy Perry's popularity is also decreasing, the second place will be best for her. McFly won't get #1 coz of the download release this week and of course because all their fans have already spent so much money three months ago for "One For The Radio". Cliff will fall down like a stone next week. And the only competitor for Kings is Will Young. Althoug I think he will be #2, McFly - #3 and Katy Perry - #4. Cliff - somewhere...
September 14, 200816 yr Kings Of Leon for a second week. McFly have got a few signings this week to boost their popularity  nothing new there.
September 14, 200816 yr Probably Kings Of Leon Never though id say this but out of the 5, I think i prefer McFly the most.
September 14, 200816 yr I don't think it will be Kate Perry again, or Cliff Richard. I don't think it will be Will Young either. Kings of Leon maybe. McFly if they surprise maybe too though because I really don't know how this single is going to go.
September 14, 200816 yr I think it will look like this... 01 - Kings of Leon - Sex On Fire 02 - McFly - Lies 03 - Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl 04 - Pussycat Dolls - When I Grow Up (I think they're physically released then) 05 - Will Young - Changes
September 14, 200816 yr As much as it pains me to say it don't rule out McFly they have 7 signings this week in HMV and Zavvi stores and also have all 3 physical formats on offer for £4 at the signings and will sign all 3 if purchased!
September 14, 200816 yr I think McFly will do it, Its the first good song they have done, and its getting good airplay.

September 15, 200816 yr Like quite a lot of bands do... Exactly what i was thinking. Wasn't this how they used to promote songs back in the day? But now, it's deemed as cheating and Cheap -_-
September 15, 200816 yr Kings Of Leon for a second week. McFly have got a few signings this week to boost their popularity  It won't, unless what they are signing is a £1m cheque to me. :)
