Ooh it's good to see Beverley still has some support then, she was the last winner of the smaller contests so I will be interested how she does (along with the 5 winners before her) now we've got a lot more people voting. It's obvious that the more recent winners will still do well.

I just hope people remember to throw the idea of being "cheap" out of the window for this Contest.

 

Songs like "I Kissed A Girl" and "Love Song" are going to seem incredibly cheap now, because they've both become massive hits, but in my book that would make them among the most worthy winners, and I hope people take that into account.

 

For the purpose of this special event Nonsuch will be treating all entries regarding how cheap they were at the time of the ORIGINAL BJSC they competed in, NOT how cheap they are now.

 

I hope other countries treat the songs in the same way.

although it will be criminally ignored again, people voting for the earlier contests should bear in mind Rivandia's entry In The Night by Basia Bulat is amazing and deserved higher than the awful placing it got!

Better late than never - I've been producing it during the results show. I hope it's alright - some songs gave me troubles because I couldn't tell what was the 'best' part. (the foreign ones and the Kylienips song basically :lol:)

Aha I think I put myself to shame for having so much spare time. :kink: I can't blame David for not finding enough time to make a recap video, the way everyone else does them looks sooo time consuming. Even this one took me a few hours to prepare and make and I didn't have to go through the process of downloading, converting and re-downloading the videos - only ripping them which took an hour or two in the background.

 

We just need someone other than me to merge Pavel's two recaps and add the other nine songs to the end and everything will be done. :D

I've sorted out my votes for BJSC 1 :o Think I might do them all, even though i've missed 3/4 of them and currently have no interest in actually participating in the actual BJSC :lol:
