Isabel to Embark on Tour

 

 

To promote Mdice's entry to BJSXI, Isabel Guzman will be traveling to various countries, beginning with Kopecka (who have long been friendly with Mdice) on October 7th. :o Other dates to be decided soon.

Lenka has started her tour to promote the Eledanese entry of this contest, "The Show" and to present her new album released the week ago in 15 countries of BJ world. The Show is currently on top of 3 countries' official charts including Eledanese. Every entry except Sergey Lazarev's Girlfriend (Number 3) has made it to the Top of Eledanese official chart.

I didn't realise that keeps Getting better had already been released in this country :o

Tori Kicks off Promo Tour in Quotosibb

 

After a farewell performance in Herzebania tonight, representative Tori Amos will embark on her mammoth promotional tour. It will start off over the weekend in neighbouring countries Quotosibb and Fervorosa, before travelling to visit new country Deandria, and long time allies of Herzebania, FSR Rontvia and Nickodonia before the draw for the semi-finals takes place.

 

Here is how the schedule is looking for the pre-draw part of the tour!

 

Quilvorian Leg

4th October - Quotosibb

5th October - Fervorosa

6th October - Deandria

7th October - Lorikeet

 

Vinorel Leg

8th October - Sangria

9th October - FSR Rontvia

10th October - FNT Nickodonia

The remaining dates are still to be confirmed and are subject to the semi-final draws, but a source from HbTV has said that Tori Amos will perform along with last month's representative Gigi D'Alessio in a special concert in Ojnoj before flying to Mdice for the semi-final, to thank the people on Ojnoj for their unprecidented support in BJSC 10.

 

"After seeing the voting results, Gigi was gutted that he hadn't got the chance to perform in Ojnoj before the contest, so he has made a point to visit there, and has very kindly asked Tori Amos along with him to gather support for her entry."

Now that the Buzzjack Song Contest has been going for a year and has become firmly established, I was thinking that maybe we (and by "we" I mean everyone else :P) should consider coming up with some sort of constant logo like the ESC has with the heart.

 

Obviously I think every contest should have its own style, as Tom and Ben have done great jobs with, but on top of that maybe we could have some logo or graphic or symbol that each contest has in common? Something to go as a banner on top of the forum or something?

 

I, being c**p at all things to do with designs, could not even begin to attempt, but maybe other people could submit ideas and we could vote on the best one?

USR entrant Alesha Dixon will be visiting several countries in forthcoming weeks to promote her song 'Lipstick'. The singer, who won Strictly Come Dancing in 2007, will visit host country Mdice on the 5th October appearing on tv programmes and singing her song and on the 6th she will stop off at Simondly to sign fans for autographs at a shopping mall. On the 7th and 8th she will visit Kopecka, Lorikeet, FNT Nickodina & Bhangra respectively. On the 9th October Alesha will perform at a concert in her home country United States of Russiatron alongside S Club Juniors & Busted and on the 10th October she will fly across to visit Hitanya.

Espen's Tarja Turunen is traveling to different countries to promote her song 'Die Alive' for the BJSC in the coming weeks. Tarja hopes to gain fans in these countries as it is Espen's first time in the contest. She said that she would be honored to play in the countries she has selected because she thinks that all of them have a strong chance of winning the competition. The singer will promote on the following dates:

The Cookie Tour

Girlband Cookie kick off their tour tomorrow after a performance in home nation Lorikeet earlier this evening, the country's first pop entry is hoped to be a big hit after 2 flop entries. The tour kicks off in Kopecka and is completed in Mdice.

I do like it when artists go on tour but is it just me or does this often actually not mean anything - last time I had almost everyone touring the great Kingdom but only the great Gigi D'Allessio turned up - I say more live performances!

Well that's a shame, because Tori Amos fully intends to visit Juranabaijan :(

I'm doing it geographically, according to the maps, so I haven't just ignored certain countries :P
