Posted September 24, 200816 yr Well they are back with a New album and a new single. Also after people laughing at amazement over Chasing Cars being in the top 200 for over 2 years, will this be a hit its called Take back the city! <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLfb8h_gmNY&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLfb8h_gmNY&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
September 24, 200816 yr Hmm I don't think it will chart that high. I voted top 10 - I think probably about #6. I still can't make up my mind as to whether I like it or not!
September 24, 200816 yr Author At first i didn't think much but it seem as if it is growing on me quickly but i will say that i think it'll go in at 8,9 or 10 somewhere Edited September 24, 200816 yr by Kid Justice Rob
September 24, 200816 yr :o I like this... ALOT! I hope it does well for them I predict Top... 10 :cheer:
September 24, 200816 yr I'm going to stick my neck out and say #1 as I want it to beat Leon Jackson that is released in the same week. Its a brilliant track, I love it to bits.
September 24, 200816 yr I usually like them (singleswise) but what in god's name is THIS?! I think it can still reach about #5 though.
September 24, 200816 yr #3. I wasn't keen at first, but I really like it now. You can definitely hear shades of the old Snow Patrol (before they became mega big) in this imo.
September 25, 200816 yr Yet another disappointing comeback single, it’s not particularly bad it just doesn’t have any wow factor. Rather like Coldplay’s 'Violet Hill' I think this will make the lower reaches of the top10 but the album will be a huge seller.
September 25, 200816 yr I'm going to stick my neck out and say #1 as I want it to beat Leon Jackson that is released in the same week. You need have no concerns there - I'll be surprised if LJ even goes T20. :w00t:
September 25, 200816 yr #3. I wasn't keen at first, but I really like it now. You can definitely hear shades of the old Snow Patrol (before they became mega big) in this imo. Perhaps it's just me, but 'sounding like they did *before* they became successful' doesn't seem like a good idea... :)
September 25, 200816 yr You need have no concerns there - I'll be surprised if LJ even goes T20. :w00t: Of course Leon will go Top 20 - he's appearing on x-factor and the single is available for download within hours. You've only got to look at the performance of the Faith Hill track to know that Leon is going to do well with this single. The Snow Patrol song is good but not great but I'm sure enough people will download it to make it a hit. I'd say Leon number 1, Snow Patrol top 3.
September 25, 200816 yr You need have no concerns there - I'll be surprised if LJ even goes T20. :w00t: GOD. As much as I'd love that to happen, it's not realistically going to happen is it? It doesn't hurt to think logically sometimes, you know...
September 25, 200816 yr Leon Jackson will do well, #1 i'm sure no matter how much of a bore the song is. I think people are forgetting that he actually WON X-Factor too. I don't like him, but bloody hell, he won the competition for God's sake, and he's performing his single live on the show. I don't think his song will be as big as Bleeding Love, but I think it will be big...
October 8, 200816 yr Snow Patrol have released some great records in their time... but.... surely with this release, they should rename themselves Quo Patrol? AWFUL single... and it really sounds like Status Quo. Nasty....
October 12, 200816 yr Bumps. The physical single is out on Monday. For those of us over a certain age, this track bizarrely reminds me of The Moody Blues. I reckon it will peak around #6.
