There are no new entries between 11-40, apart from re-entries from Gabriella Cilmi, Keane, Take That and Snow Patrol

Will Young is down 5 places in the singles chart
I hope P!nk can hold it! its been just over 6 years! JLAP was no.1 for my 14th birthday and I turned 20 on Sunday so it would be good for her to be no.1 again around my birthday.

Cool for Pink- Oasis must be selling loads of physicals!

Well done Sugas! Hope they at least stay at number 4- going up would be cool too!

Yeah it'll be VERY interesting to watch sales in the Top5, shame we don't have it. I think there's some big difference in sales between #2 and #3. Also I think Oasis will go down to #4 or 5 by Sunday with Boyzone and maybe Sugababes making the Top3 and leaving Kings of Leon at 4.

Early sales have seen Pink’s new single, So What (RCA), skyrocket to the number one position on the UK singles chart after just two days sales. Following a debut at thirty-eight last week based on digital sales alone, physical product has bolstered RCA’s efforts and forced the single to the top of the chart, eclipsing the early sales of Oasis comeback, The Shock Of The Lightning, which currently holds in second place.

Three steps back and at present the only other new release to make an impact on the top 30, I Love You Anyway (Polydor) by Boyzone, debuts at number five. It is the bands comeback single from the forthcoming studio album, due out for the Christmas market as they look to mirror Take That’s comeback two years ago.

While the singles chart maintains relative stability, it is already shaping up as a strong week for the albums market as labels start rolling out their big quarter four priorities. Leading the charge is Let It Go (19/Sony BMG) by Will Young which is currently holding in second place behind Kings Of Leon, Only By The Night (Columbia).

Polydor will no doubt be pulling out the punches to knock Will Young down a peg or two over the next few days as the label looks to push James Morrison further up the chart. Morrison’s sophomore album Songs For You Truths For Me is currently holding in third place ahead of Rihanna, Good Girl Gone Bad (Mercury).

Two steps back and SyCo begins its fourth quarter roll out with the release of Andrew Johnston’s One Voice album. The set currently holds at five.

The only other new entry to the top ten at this stage of the week comes from hard rock act Trivium, who debut at eight with Shogun (Roadrunner).

Elsewhere in the top twenty, Seasick Steve makes is biggest impression on the UK charts yet with the new album, I Started Out with Nothin and I Still Got Most Of It Left (Warner Bros). The major label debut is released ahead of is sold out headline show at the Royal Albert Hall this month.

Jonas Bros (Polydor) and Blake (UCJ), also make a healthy mark on the lower reaches of the top twenty.

Anyone else with a MW account, if so I need a second opinion, if they have posted the Album mid chart, as I'm seeing nothing, pretty odd.

Thanks for MW report will add to front page.

Good for Pink! :) And finally, the top 5 is changing a bit more. It really was getting boring. Where the heck is the album info. :(
And where are our fallers out Katy Perry, Rihanna and PCD? I reckon they are at #6, #7 and #8 correspondingly, aren't they? This week's chart is brilliant only because of those fallings, these songs were in the Top5 for at least a month like PCD and more than two months like Katy Perry.
Just seen the music week writeup, thanks Mart!n.

Ripped most of the album info from the above report, I still don't have a mid chart for the albums.

eeek, I stand corrected, I was doing it from memory, got the 2 mixed up, thanks

Good chart this week - Cant believe Suga's are so high with that awful song
Thanks Mart!n, I hope Will manages to keep the #2 spot, it's going to be a tough week and well done to P!nk and Babes. :D

LOL :( Oh dear

Thanks! Hopefully Sugababes chart higher than Boyzone. And hopefully Will Young stays top2 then he will have had no album chart lower than #2 in his career and will make him the biggest British solo star releasing at the moment.
