Wouldn't have expected it to do so well though, it must be high on physicals cos its really low on Itunes They were doing an offer of 3 formats for £5 (CD, 7" and 7" Red Vinyl) with the first 1,000 ordered signed by the band - Mine arrived today so I am guessing that is why they have had a strong start! Hope they can hold onto a Top 10 position though as the song is amazing :wub:

Keane are not big album sellers like Oasis, but I do like Keane's new direction, guess have to wait until next week, if Oasis do around 140k next week, half of this week's sales, its going to be a bit of a struggle for them.

October 7, 200817 yr ...same reaction as many...Where did this new Courteeners track spring from? I listen to Radio1 and XFM and haven't heard it on either. Odd, as earlier in the year Radio1 were playing Courteeners to death. I'll have to look it up when I get home.
