Very impressed with Rachel and Diana.

 

I wasn't sure about Rachel's song choice but I think she made the best of it, great energy on stage. 8/10

What the hell was Rachel wearing. The dancing was awful, the vocal wasnt good either IMO. But there was just something that i liked about it.

 

Diana was fab though, theres just something really quirky and crazy about her.

Bad Lashes could be good, Laura is the one i'm looking forward to now.

Rachel - Fabulous. Wicked song choice, brave indeed, but it worked! Quirky, loved it. Also to those saying she looked awful - wtf?! She looked like Grace Jones. Totally classic style, quite sexy in fact.

 

Diana - Again a strong performance. Started out poor given how the song was too low for her but she totally brought it back and nailed it. Bare feet though? I'm wondering if she's actually having to try to be so quirky...

Not as good as I was expecting, I think the solo parts let them down as the vocals were shaky in patches. I'm still holding out for them though, because I agree with the judges, they could be FANTASTIC.

Rachel

TOTAL CAR CRASH. Not just the performance, but Rachel herself. She controlled herself, but she still came across as arrogant to me when she started going on about working the crowd, and there's clear awkwardness with Dannii.

I LOVE With Every Heartbeat, if only Dannii had given it to Rhydian last year it would have worked WONDERS. But not with Rachel. Her vocals didn't suit, and it is NOT a song for "working the crowd", it's supposed to be an emotional track!

Even with the bad song choice though, Rachel's vocals were jarring. She clipped off the ends of a lot of the words too quickly and sharply, it sounded a bit like she was barking at some points.

JUST AWFUL. I hope she hasn't blown it, because she is capable of better.

The first performance where the set-up was absolutely PERFECT, Cheryl got everything right. The styling suited Diana to the ground, and the acoustic arrangement absolutely works for her.

Diana's vocals were a bit shaky to begin with, but by the end I wanted to hear more.

I still can't figure out who she sounds like. It's like a mix between Bjork/Shakira/Sinead O'Connor/Dido/Alanis Morrisette/but there's someone who she sounds just like. Still bugging me. She worked well with the acoustic guitar, sounded very professional. But she could really grate on me after a while... 7/10

 

It's weird. When she sings quietly she's a Norah Jones soundalike, but when she sings loud it does go Alanis Morissette like. It's a good mix I feel though.

Girlband was better :o well they sound better together i think...........

Bad Lashes - Looked good as a Girl Band but not sure about the song at ALL!!!!!!!! VERY dissapointed!!! Expected better - was looking forward to this :( I blame Louis 2/10

None of the girls have the vocal power to carry out this song. It was pretty sappy and dry, and boring. Just a weak lukewarm performance. 4/10
