Glasgow-via-Belfast indie-rock ensemble Snow Patrol have played everything from shambolic noise-pop a la Pavement, to a slightly droney post-rock in the vein of Mogwai, to epic lovelorn anthems modelled after Coldplay. While the band's influences are clear and undeniable, Snow Patrol are no mere imitators. Instead, they display a confidence and a sense of fun that has made them one of the most successful bands to emerge from Scotland's fecund indie scene. The band's third full-length, EYES OPEN, topped the U.K. album charts in 2006. - HMV

I've just realised something, I'm listening to a Snow Patrol song with no desire to fall asleep. This is an improvement.

I don't know, but I only rediscovered it a few weeks ago when I downloaded all her albums in preparation for 'Circus', it was about her only single I didn't have. :lol:

Pretty good isn't it. I wouldn't have thought it was them if I didn't know...

Better than Oasis at least. In my town 9 out of every 10 buskers play Oasis songs... that's not a recommendation :lol:

Dutch = Holland :P

I cant decide if I like this or not - one week I do, then the next I don't. Hmmmmmm.

Do you mean Belgium instead of Dutch? Cos I already put #4 for Holland.

Are those peaks confirmed? What's your source?

Love Lockdown peaked at # 3 in the US
