November 9, 200817 yr 35 Will Young - Grace [D] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/88697419892.JPG Chart Run: 35 [1 wk] Release date: 1-12-2008 Format: CDS Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 88697419892 Label: BMG UK singer, Will Young, a politics graduate, shot to fame in 2002 as the winner of the first series of the UK reality TV programme, Pop Idol. Young racked up record-breaking advance orders of 1.2 million for his debut single, the double a-side, "Anything Is Possible/Evergreen". It went straight to the top of the charts in March, going on to become the best-selling single of the decade in the UK. Despite the poor critical reaction to his debut album, FROM NOW ON, Young won over his critics through sheer hard work, his constant touring helped maintain his media profile. The hard work paid off in December 2003, when the single "Leave Right Now"--written by original Brother Beyond member 'Eg' White--and his second album, FRIDAY'S CHILD, both topped the UK charts. Young's critical rehabilitation was complete by the time his third album, KEEP ON, was released--to favourable reviews--in November 2005. - HMV Video here: 1agz_QGfv1U track listing 1. Grace 2.
