November 28, 200816 yr I am sure it will go to #1 and have a huge first week sale - I am a fan of Leona but it seems she can only score a #1 single when supported by the X-Factor...(A Moment Like This, Bleeding Love and now quite possibly Run). As good as X-Factor promotion is for any artist it is not good when you rely on it for a #1 single...just my opinion of course :P
November 28, 200816 yr Ok so I think 100k+ and you think 50/60K. lets see who's closest next week. Winner gets to have dinner with Leona ;-) Deal :P
November 28, 200816 yr If that prize really was on offer i wonder how many other BJ members would stick their necks out and try predict the first week sales ?
November 28, 200816 yr If that prize really was on offer i wonder how many other BJ members would stick their necks out and try predict the first week sales ? I say EVRYONE :w00t:

November 28, 200816 yr You're probably right about AMLT and, if it goes to number 1 - Run, but Bleeding Love would have been huge with or without an appearance on the X-Factor. Norma Yeah that would have been huge whoever had sung it for it was a really good song! But she's only as huge as she is because of the hype she constantly gets and her association with X Factor. She is very big now anyway but look at how Forgive Me did without an X Factor appearance! People on here were saying how it was going to rise straight to #1 on iTunes and stay there for ages and it peaked at #5. But still she constantly gets shoved in your face and then the hype train really gets rolling when she appears on the X Factor hence why the album went back to #1 on re-release and Bleeding Love was #1 for so long. I personally think because of how they've combined the X Factor performance with the album re-release that they've missed the boat with the #1 now personally and people are again overestimating her. It does depend how the likesTake That hold up though. I do have a feeling that there is a danger of people getting sick of her (well some of us are quite clearly now  ) or her going in the way Kelly Clarkson did though within a few years. EDIT: There's a Video? Maybe it can be #1 then..

I don't think Take That will hold on to number one for more than this Sunday! And I think it will be Leona who takes over (but I doubt she'll last more than a week to be honest). I think at the moment Leona is getting a lot of hype - but to be perfectly honest ... it is only in ratio to her talent - a lot of people do appreciate that kind of singing and she does it better than anyone else at the moment. The only other person who is getting so much hype and publicity at the moment (without even paying for it) is Britney! I'm on an enforced stay-at-home today (little boy with a big cold!) and I've had Britney shoved in my face so far by GMTV, This Morning and Loose Women .... and Sinitta was doing the pushing on Loose Women on behalf of X-Factor (Simon Cowell really does own the airwaves - I bet one day - he'll pull of a mask and reveal himself to be Rupert Murdoch! ) Norma
November 28, 200816 yr hmm will people download a song that probably 100,000 already have on the 'deluxe version' album when a huge majority of them only bought it for 'run'?
November 28, 200816 yr hmm will people download a song that probably 100,000 already have on the 'deluxe version' album when a huge majority of them only bought it for 'run'? This is what i fear
November 28, 200816 yr Author hmm will people download a song that probably 100,000 already have on the 'deluxe version' album when a huge majority of them only bought it for 'run'? That leaves 59.9 million people who don't have Run as they haven't bought the deluxe.
November 28, 200816 yr So I hear the song is going on download from Sunday...People just need to know that the song is out there for download when it goes out so TV promo wouldnt go a miss. Also another TV performance next week on a high profile show would help, maybe Paul Ogrady...as much as I hate the guy :P
November 28, 200816 yr hmm will people download a song that probably 100,000 already have on the 'deluxe version' album when a huge majority of them only bought it for 'run'? Yea tho die-hard fans will go download even if they have it, then there's alot of people out there who have sense and who would have just waited a couple weeks to get the song instead of blowin 8 quid instead of 79p
