Really upset this didn't do well. Hopefully 'Run' will become her 3rd #1.

Didn't do well? #5 last week on 37.9k sales isn't bad, and a second week in the top 10 too...

It did do well. :) #5 is great.

She's done Brilliant with her official singles. The album tracks, ruin the look of her singles peaks. :(

Actually I meant only Forgive Me :)

It has done well, but obviously not as well as it could have done.

Another top five hit with a c**p PM schedule. :P

In the late 1990s, Madonna had long since become a mature artist, turning her back on the carefree dance-pop of her early days. Teenage singer Britney Spears picked up on this specific Madonna era, albeit with a more girl-next-door approach. Her coy mix of innocence and sensuality (and infectious songs) made her a superstar, and helped inspire the teen-pop phenomenon that soon dominated pop music. By the early '00s, Spears was casting about for a more adult image, and remade herself into a vixen, experimented with acting and reality TV, and had two children with the controversial wannabe rap star Kevin Federline. While her personal life preempted her musical output for a while, she seemed on the road to artistic recovery after the 2006 birth of her second child. A critically lambasted appearance on the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards and a very public custody battle with Federline worked against her, but her concurrent album release BLACKOUT bought her some credibility with the fickle music press. - HMV

Britney's drop to number 8 is a bit surprising. :o
YAY! Womanizer! :yahoo:  Gutted it's fallen, but not surprised TBH! She hasn't done any promo yet, but wait until the X Factor performance and physical release ^_^ Hopefully sales are still quite high ^_^
'Womanizer' is really getting on my nerves now, so repetitive! Though the intro is awesome.

Agreed. It's not doing to well. And if you whistle it, it sounds like a sea shanty

OHMG no, big fall, poor Britney. :(:(

It's not disastrous! Still top 10. We just need to hope sales are Ok! :)

Discussion Thread Here

Well Lemar was gotten 5 years out of starting his career via a reality music show and the career is now starting to show wrinkles from as the top tune probaly won't reach the top ten.
