November 26, 200817 yr Anyone got info on Chris Brown & Keri Hilson please? it was physically released this week and it's not in the updates :( Up 1 Is Alphabeat anywhere with their new single? Top 165 yesterday :( Well, McFly have some new downloads available from midnight I guess (they would have been out Monday if that was possible but they're recordings from the recent tour dates) with all money going to CIN so hopefully that will get them into the top 10 as they need to be redeemed to get counted. They've been available to pre-order from before they were recorded and include Manchester, the biggest venue. That would explain why there were five different versions of Do Ya yesterday between 80 and 160 with cities at the end of their names.. I presume they've been added to the title now. November 27, 200817 yr Not being top 10 wouldn't exactly be the end of the world though, it's still very good against the competition and being the 3rd single from an album that was in a paper bought, what, 2.3 million times? Then in a deluxe edition of the album. I'm not sure how much of an effect the free album that includes the song which was given away a year ago with a newspaper would have - I am sure many, many people that bought the newspaper would have either listened to the album once or not at all and even if they do still own it probably would not think that it would include the new CIN single.
November 27, 200817 yr Uk is only biggest country where Britney isn't peaked in top 3, it's a shame. :(
November 27, 200817 yr Hey Martin, here's a really good question for you. Whats the lowest position you have, with some form of sale next to them? Maybe, Number 100, with just a 1,000 copies sold or something? Would really help! - Thanks.
November 27, 200817 yr Uk is only biggest country where Britney isn't peaked in top 3, it's a shame. :( I really think she will peak next week, after the X Factor performance. Top 3 is kind of impossible I think. But a return to the top 5 isn't. Edited November 27, 200817 yr by TomKay

November 27, 200817 yr I wish Duffy was top ten too, but she didn't perform on X-Factor this week and her record company are actually allowing you to download the new deluxe tracks seperately. Its either a good chart position or a worthy buy these days. Duffy did though have massive support from BBC TV and radio networks - she's been A-listed with recent stuff, had all the prime time slots and her own TV special promoting the deluxe. Let's not go down the "poor Duffy" route, particularly when her album wasn't initially available digitally until the midweeks had come in and the sales were disappointing.

Maybe, Number 100, with just a 1,000 copies sold or something? Would really help! - Thanks. Well I'm not Martin but maybe I can answer you. We only get the top 40 mids update from day to day thanks to Music Week. The sales information comes from MArtin's source but we don't get it frequently, not even every week. If he gets it it's usually a top 200 information. So don't count on it from week to week. It's just an extra special if we get them. This Tuesday the number 200 single sold around 250 copies, the number 200 album around 315.
November 27, 200817 yr Uk is only biggest country where Britney isn't peaked in top 3, it's a shame. :( Not just in the UK. In Germany she will debut this week at #4 with Womanizer, although in the next coming weeks she can still rise a bit.

I would like to order some of live versions of Do Ya, but i doubt its possible considering i'm not in the UK :( does anyone know where's Dido album now?^^

Thanks *Ben* that's interesting, so that would equate to about 1k for both overall , by the end of this week then? obviously sales would be a little higher at this time of year anyway.

For the singles I don't think it can reach 1k, it'll be somewhere between 600-800 imo. For the albums I don't have a clue. Maybe around 900-1k.
November 27, 200817 yr Found this posted on Haven. Just seen this on UKMix about second day sales percetages. "Guns 'N' Roses sold in the second day only 32% of their sales in the first day, against 52% for The Priests, 55% for the Killers and 71% for Leona " Yeah Rhydian may end up at No.2 then. So The Killers - 109k Guns n'Roses - 67k Rhydian - ? The Priests - 29k Leona - 29k And Rhydian - 47.5k but it appears his sales suffered slightly on Tuesday because there were many reports of empty shelves around the country - that is why I think he will benefit from a Saturday surge. Hope its OK to post here  Edited November 27, 200817 yr by val4jadan

Cheers *Ben*, it does explain where all those accumulated album sales come from though, when people are surprised at how many certain albums have sold overall, when they haven't featured in the the top 75 for ages. :D
November 27, 200817 yr Not just in the UK. In Germany she will debut this week at #4 with Womanizer, although in the next coming weeks she can still rise a bit. I think that she can, beacuse she today performaning in Germany in Bambi Awards, that will be help in chart. ;)
