I think people are forgetting that the No Can Do that is being downloaded on ITunes is the album version.

When a little more promo starts getting seen, then we'll see the SINGLE version being downloaded.

Nar, that doesnt usually happen unless there is a major different in the song like that kelly rowland work.

The single edit will have no effect atall.

I wish that record companies could hold back downloads of all potential 2009 hits until the first week of the year

It's so messy to see next year's hits already charting :(

The problem with the Sat's id that tyhey may peak too early and not get their potential chart position- if that's what they're looking for then so be it.

It's far better for it to be making an impact now, it stands a chance of getting the album back into the chart over the christmas period, and it won't affect the final position... it will keep going and downloads usually improve on the week of physical week anyway.

Yay for Miley climbing to #28  And I guess at least the Sugababes are shifting some downloads of the album version of 'No Can Do' - They need all the sales they can get at the moment!

GA have pushed sugababes out the way

How do you work that one out? You're SUCH a trouble-maker when you want to be. :/ They've overtaken them, but to push them out of the way would suggest Sugababes were one place lower. Other songs have also overtaken No Can Do...

Stop stirring sh!t.

Edit!

Great for GA! :w00t: at Ladyhawke and Ne-Yo too ^_^

Not really when Sugababes were out in the last update... so GA haven't forced them out at all ;)

Oh dont do yaself a mischief dear.

I was just imagining GA running down a corridor in heels, running past all the other acts and elbowing the sugababes out the way as they went passed :D

That's a bit silly really. If the song is strong enough then it will do well, regardless if it's album version or not. If people are interested and want that song at that particular time, they will download it. I like 'No Can Do' but it was a stupid 2nd choice single really. It's actually quite weak. And I think that's why it's having problems at the moment!

I never normally get involved, I just come on here to read more passively than actively, but as a massive Girls Aloud fan - and someone who actually doesn't care that much for Sugababes, robintime11 you really are causing trouble where it's not needed.

It's not a comparison of the two songs, that's not what this forum is about. Fair enough, congratulate 'The Loving Kind' for enterting already, it's great since the video only premiered on Wednesday. But there's no need to mention 'No Can Do'.

This Girls Aloud/Sugababes thing really has to stop - and that's not just to you.

Sorry about that.

I agree its annoying but i was pleased to see GA pass a song that is out weeks before, everyone else says what they want so i didnt see why i shouldnt aswell.

Thrilled for GA

Very well said :cheer: Robintime is just a dick though when it comes to that...

im happy for GA anyway ^_^

Great for Loving Kind, since the video's premier it's really started to grow on me.

Was hoping Gabby Cilmi would be top 40, but hopefully next update she will.
